The experiment was a complete success! I officially signed the Rizian Charter of Fundamental Law, transitioning Rizia into a constitutional monarchy and appointing Adarfo Sotelato as Rizia’s very first Prime Minister!

Despite the hardliners claiming this undermines the "King's Divine Right" to rule and the RNC throwing a fit over losing power, King Romus remains on the throne as head of state while handing legislative and executive governance to the working-class movement.

I successfully avoided a republican revolution, avoided being deposed, and created a Monarcho-Socialist Constitutional Kingdom!

The Making of a Government

- The Government's Party -

The Rizian National Coalition is the establishment party of the Kingdom of Rizia. Founded in 1926, the party consisted of nobles, high ranking businessemen, and land owners, who aimed to preserve rizian traditions and stability, along their personal wealth.

After the 1958 reforms, the RNC appeals to the rizian public created several factions. Currently, the factions are the Conservatives, the Old Guards, the Neo moderates, the Free trade movement, and the Progressive RNC-ites.

Traditionally in favor of protectionism, the party recently adopted a free trade policy, it emphasize a strong stance on defense and the defense of Rizian identity. It’s also a unionist party, opposing any increase of the provinces power, although the province’s rights question is still on the table. The RNC factions, a weakness at first glance, helps the party to be a big tent party and one political organziation that one can’t underestimate.

Luce doesn't need an introduction, the name "Lucita Azaro" is a nationwide known name to both her supporters and her critics. The days as War Councilor are gone now, replaced by years as Governor of Cardesse-Montaklar.

And right when she thought to be safe old memories of the Pales Border "Incident" returned demanding answers from her. Than the trial (the first noble to be prosecuted in Rizian history since 1926) and the acquittal for "lack of evidences". All thanks to "The Great" who kept the bodies buried. Not that he was happy about it, on the contrary... But maybe that was she needed to be aware of her epiphany.

The trial, De Rava's resignation, Romus assuming ad interim executive powers, the campaign trail for the premiership against Sotelato, her abdication as Duchess... Miss. Azaro overcame them all, but paid a high price with her standing in her own family. Only her little sister still loves her.

But the challenges aren't over yet. After her narrow victory in the 1968 election, Azaro's real game begins now. The country on the brink of deficit, ATO's actions in Rizian airspace, and escalating political violence.

The once warmonger Azaro won the elections by promising peace, the once number one enemy of democracy now stands as the first defender of the Golden Kingdom's democracy. And now that she has a chance to repay the favor of The Man in Palas Rezna, she will fight with everything she has got to WIN PEACE and to restore the HONOR.

• Deputy Prime Minister: Willem Fors (RNC - Conservative Wing)

Charismatic and extroverted, Fors conservatorism act as balance of Lucita's newfound moderate views. While Luce can stay above the fray, Fors relentless attacks against the opposition made him gain the nickname "The Steamroller". Even Luce wouldn't want to be his enemy. Good thing that she isn't one.

• Minister for the Interior: Diego Joras (RNC - Conservative Wing)

"Gee, I wouldn't be surprised that we will arrange a funeral for the old dinosaur here."

Former mayor of Mave Nortus. His record in internal security comprising a two front strategy of "Carrot and Stick" are widely praised. Likebility might not be his best asset, but he knows how to get things done. He controls the federal police and keep communications with provinces law enforcement agencies.

• Minister for Defense and National Security: Markus Tarpis (RNC - Old Guard Wing)

"I just hope is more loyal to the Government and not to my family. Just that would be an improvement"

Former commander of the Rizia's Task Force in Vendonesam. Tarpis entered politics after he criticised De Rava's policies regarding military and defense budget. While an advocate of an increase in defense budget, he dismisses rumors about him being a surrogate of the Azaros.

• Minister for Foreign Affairs: Sofia Alvarez (RNC - Neo Moderate wing)

"If she doesn't find an agreement with ATO, we are all (EXPLETIVE DELETED)"

Daughter of Lespian migrants, Alvarez worked in the Ariana Toras Organization as an aide. After she graduated in Kyrute's School of Diplomacy, she was hired in the Foreign Ministry during the first De Rava's government and became Rizia's ambassador in Rumburg before being recalled to Porte Drazon to become Foreign Minister in Azaro's cabinet.

• Minister for the Treasury: Elga Voss (Indipendent)

"One of the few members of the cabinet that I trust"

Known for her no-nonsense approach, Elga Voss have been Axel Rheinhart Economy Councilor when Pales was still indipendent. After the reunification with Rizia in 1958, she worked with her Rizian counterpart Elena Werner in merging the two countries finances. A vocal critic of De Rava's tax cuts on high income households, Voss accepted Azaro's offer to become the Treasury Minister.

• Secretary for the Justice Department: Romina Sato (RNC - Progressive Wing)

"She still needs to be reminded of the sharks swimming around her..."

The youngest member of the cabinet, Miss. Sato has been the assistant of the judge of the Montaklar Court of Appeal during first De Rava's government. After his predecessor was found to be involved in a corruption scandal, Sato took office in 1967. She didn't manage to start working in her new office as De Rava resigned in the same year. After Lucita's predecessor scandals came to light, Sato expressed her support for further reforms.

• Secretary for Education, Science, and Innovation: Lukas Corvin (RNC - Progressive Wing)

"His office is packed of books, and I only read one percent of them"

Lukas Corvin was an academic who taught Rizian literature in the Iza University and in the Romus Toras University in Porte Drazon. He clashed with Daria de Rava after he complained on how De Rava's government kept cutting funds to education. He accepted Lucita's offer to become Secretary for Education hoping to reform the Rizian education system.

• Secretary for the National Healthcare System: Loris Xen (Indipendent)

"If he saved Rico from that shooting in Iza, I bet he can heal Rizia too"

A Qinali migrants descendant, Loris Xen worked in the Hospital of Iza before taking office as the director of the Romus Toras Hospital. In 1962 he wrote The Conscience of a Physician, which recounts Xen's years at Iza's Hospital and made him famous in medical circles and humanitarian organizations. His Xen Report on the quality gap betwen state and private hospitals convinced Azaro to offer him the seat of Secretary of the NHS.

• Secretary for Trade: Nadia Palet (RNC - Free Trade Movement)

"As long she gain money from our job, she will be happy."

After "Rusty" Montoro arrest in late 50's, the Rizian Authorities nationalized the Rizian Royal Gold and transformed it in a publicly traded state owned company. To Elena Werner's suggestion, the Board voted Nadia Palet as Montoro's successor. Miss. Palet's succesfull record as RRG's CEO and her useful ties in the Porte Drazon Stock Exchange convinced Lucita Azaro to appoint her as Secretary for Trade.

• Secretary for Food and Agricolture: Kalen Orukis (RNC - Progressive Wing)

"The man stands for what he believes in. And he is also one of the few that dares to argue with Fors. Respect."

While Mr. Orukis has undubitably ties to farm cooperatives, he is truly THE representative of the little guys standing against foreign agribusiness interests who began selling low quality food in the Rizian market. Even receiving praises from Adarfo Sotelato, Kalen advocates for a reform in the agricolture sector to ensure that Rizia keeps feeding its citizens.
