Ship is the Fury-class Imperial interceptor

Idk maybe its just me but it feels weird that the alliance colors are yellow/orange and black. It looks good, but its still a bit shocking to me. What really sucks however is that you never see this colored armor outside of Iokath.

For context, I am fairly experienced in mmorpg's, played ESO, FF14, and a bit of WOW back in the day, and I have been eyeing SWTOR for a long time now. That being said, I know the "is it worth trying" question is in the FAQ, but I was hoping for a bit more pointed discussion, specifically on starting now or waiting for 8.0.

I've done some research on what 8.0 plans to change, but lack a sense of scope for how largely it impacts new player experience, and specifically, if it is a significant enough overhaul to justify waiting for December, or if its worth jumping in and learning to be ready for fresh char/experience come 8.0

If the new player experience is in a bad spot right now, I'd rather wait, but if its not bad, just slated to get better, then that's something to consider.

Many of my guildies didn't know and thought I'd share that:

During Raghoul Event you have three world bosses on:

Corellia

Alderaan

Tatooine

Additionally secret bonus boss in vet/master Mode Kaon Under Siege. Bring extra Raghoul serums or wear the raghoul relic. This boss will cleanse your serum and you'll spend half the time coughing if you don't have another ready.

Each World and Kaon bosses can drop Raghoul pets.

I have read all sorts of opinions and guides online about SWTOR companions. Personal preference aside, everyone seems to agree that Blizz ranks highly as a tank, but no one will say why. Does he have an aggro-holding ability that others like Khem or Torian don’t have? Does he start with unusually high hit points, or is his influence level especially easy to raise? Not hating on Blizz, just curious.

I was wondering if there is someone who can help me get this chestpiece Defiant Asylum MK-26 which can only be obtained by crafting, i'm on Darth Malgus server, have characters on both factions. People on the fleet are not responding

So I was just curious about if there's some kind of tierlist, or unspoken agreement as to which Combat Style and Discipline is the easiest and hardest to play. I come from many years of Elder Scrolls Online experience and there was always a hierarchy for what Class and Role just outperformed everything else, even after 8 years of buffs and nerfs.

I also know that SWTORs Combat Styles have LS and DS Mirrors, so I'm fine with them being listed interchangeably with their counterpart (e.g. Immortal- Juggernaut is the same as Defence-Guardian).

I haven't gotten into Ops or even played with other people yet in FPs, but I am curious about what expectations I'd have to meet first. And which Combat Style is the easiest to play in the 3 separate roles; Tnk, Hlr, Dps.

So I made this character as my main JK. After completing half the expansions i made myself my own armor set. Now I want to go and make one for my SW aswell as he goes through the expansions and i was wondering if there is any gear with the Imperial emblem on it like this belt has the Republic emblem.

I'm sure this has been asked before plenty of times but I'm trying to get clarity and confirmation. Light Side and Dark side choices, do they actually matter in regards to the title. I have been told by someone that it does and Jedi Knight wouldn't receive the Master and have been trying to find information on the matter.

I finished Imperial Agent it seems like at most they affect the ending choices at most.

So this week has been a little bit of a doozy in regards to my playing the game. Was doing Shadow of Revan content on my Bounty Hunter last weekend and parked him on Rishi. Then, the next day I see on FB that there's an issue with Rishi and that it'll be placed on quarantine and that the server is coming down to fix the bug. I check my BH, and confirm that I am indeed afflicted by the Galactic Seasons bug. The devs say not to play if you are or else any fixes will mess up your season tracking, so I wait.

Then, nothing changes after the declared server downtime. I check the forums -- see that they actually delayed the update, but didn't post it on FB or in-game from what I saw. (Annoying but I digress) So I waited some more. Then the second server maintenance hits, and everyone is supposed to be fixed. Only I'm not. So I put in a ticket. They say yeah we don't know give us a sec, so I wait.

Then ANOTHER update goes into effect. I check my account -- my season isn't showing 0 anymore, but it is ONLY showing my having completed Level 1. In reality, I had already done the entire first week of weeklies and maxed out on dailies,, I was at level 11 on the season before things went upside down. So I put in like, my 3rd or 4th ticket this week. I get a response back that NO JOKE basically said "no we did fix it, just update your game" so I responded and was like no, it isn't fixed. I wouldn't have put in a ticket if it wasn't. So then I got this response back:

I get on, check my season -- it's fixed! Woohoo! Only wait a minute -- I didn't get the cartel coins he said he was gonna give me. Check my ledger -- it shows that I spent 1000 cc to get a Season level, when I never spent anything. ONE MORE TICKET HERE WE GOOOOO--- then this response:

Am I the asshole or is the second response nowhere even CLOSE to what he said in the initial email...? Like I don't think I misconstrued "we're gonna toss you 1000 cc for your trouble" lmao but sure, whatever QQ

I just finished Zeek's quest and unlocked 340 gear mods for my equipment. I made a full 340 set by infusing the augmentation modules into a CM armor set.

Correct me if I'm wrong: to get 344 gear, I need to buy the purple 324 Rakata gear and upgrade it to 344, right? I can't reach 344 with Zeek's 340 gear, correct?

If so, there's one thing that confuses me: the Rakata gear seems to lack augmentation slots, meaning I can't customize the stats with corresponding augmentations to fit my playstyle (DPS = high Crit/Alacrity, or Tank = high Defense/Absorb).

So, should I stick with my customized, augmented 340 gear, or grind for a full 344 Rakata set without augmentation slots? I'm really confused.

i kinda mixed the terms i meant the ''armoring/mod/enhancement'' slots forgot about the augmentation slot mechanic where i can unlock those slots with the augmentation slot ty naquoae for pointing it out

Note that this is not a post about the worst main story period - we discuss that constantly.

I'm just talking about the stand-out most contrived/boring/tedious/terrible chapter overall - what, in your opinion, is the lowest singular episode in the main game.

My vote? Jedi Knight chapter 2. And it's because it has the effect of making both the Jedi and, by extension (because you either grudgingly or enthusiastically go along with it) your character look naive-verging-on-stupid.

The notion of 4 Jedi walking into the Emperor's house to turn him to the light side (with the fallback of killing him) may be the most ludicrous, ham-fisted, and silly plan in the history of the order. I can sort of forgive Tol Braga for massively underestimating the Emperor's power (although, given that he's lived for a thousand years in a galaxy where lifespans rarely exceed 100, there should have been enormous red flags)... but you're going to take him out with 4 Jedi? And your optimistic assessment is that you should first give him a chance to turn away from his evil? No, like, snipe him from 100 yards or set off a bomb? No... just walk up and say "erm, Mr. Bigs? Why are you so evil? And can I interest you in a pamphlet discussing a 9-point plan on how to turn away from your schemes?"

Even the other Jedi acknowledge that it's basically a suicide mission. But then Satele green-lights it by saying that "any chance of success means we should try." Satele, dear, that's NOT how things work when you're talking about people's lives. A one or two percent (and it probably wasn't even close to that) possibility of success means that 99 percent of the time you're holding a memorial ceremony and contacting relatives. And yet... you think that's the sort of mission you should dispatch your best up-and-coming Jedi on? A one-way ticket to the big force clouds in the sky?

I think it's interesting when games trick or deceive or hoodwink both the player and the MC. But JK chapter 2 is so obviously going to fail. And, as it turns out, that's exactly what happens: you lose. So it's not a twist or anything like it - it's just a slog towards a disaster everyone could see coming. And that makes our character, order, and faction just look... dumb.

Also I'm saving credits for the Alderan stronghold, I'm at 300,000 and need to have 4,000,000 so it's like my holy grail in this game.

No matter how many times I create a Twi’lek character I can't find a good customization I like. I mostly play a female Twi’lek and was wondering if some other players could share their Twi’lek characters with customization options?

I just added a secondary combat style to my main. He’s a Sith Warrior (Juggernaut) and I added the Sorcerer style. Shortly after, I realized I should have chosen the Assassin. Is there a way to change that? I didn’t see a cartel market item for it, and I can’t seem to find any other information. Am I just SOL at this point?

I am surely missing something. The map says i have to get to where my cursor is but you cant get there. There is a massive ravine before it and you get shot and killed by those drones.

What am i missing?
