Cards in order: Ace if cups, two of swords, 4 or cups, 9 of wands (reversed), and ace of swords
Edit: I asked about what my friend's issue with me was
I've been feeling bothered about the behavior of my friend for several months already. We're in the same friend group but it seems to me, these past several months that this person's become completely indifferent or even avoiding me. I thought if I gave it time it would reveal itself, but it has not.
I've just started Tarot and my understanding is still a bit shallow. It seems there's some sort of deep, hidden, emotional issues here considering all the water and arms being crossed in some way. But, I would also appreciate 2nd opinions pls, in case I'm missing something or that I might be biased😔🙏

Oh sorry I forgot to paste it in :') I asked about what could be my friend's issue/s towards me and no I don't think there's any special significance to each card. I was going for 6 cards to describe the answer but the cards weren't "jumping" after the 5th

Ohh this puts some things into perspective. They have opened up to our friends about these same troubles so I'd say that analysis is spot on!! Thank you so much for the effort I appreciate it a lot

In the middle of packing for a move and my deck jumped at me when I placed it on a shelf, I asked what it wanted to tell me and while shuffling these cards jumped out in the order of: The tower reversed Princess of pentacles reversed Wheel of fortune reversed Queen of pentacles The world. Life and my head have been feeling a little messy lately, I'm still new to tarot and interpreted this as an overall positive message that things are moving in my favor - am I right? How would you interpret this?

I recently had someone draw the major Arcana Art card for me. She is really good intuitive and told me that I have a Creative situation going on. There is something that I’m holding back that I need to start allowing. It may not necessarily be doing things like painting or writing, but could be about my own expressions. She mentioned that this has tried to come up in previous lifetime, but you haven’t allowed it to happen but now it’s vital for you to let it happen. It can open doors to a whole new world that I wasn’t aware about. I wanted to ask if anyone is able to identify what that could be. Appreciate any guidance. Thank you.

Just realized that "The world" was missing from the deck at the end of the day and left behind in the box. I'm new to tarot and I was messing around with it sporadically throughout the entire day. So yeeeah I tried it out for a long, long time before I noticed it was missing. Should I just interpret that as my trials are far from over? I was thinking about how most of the questions I asked would take a few years minimum before I would even get an answer irl

Hi! Perhaps it's a nice invitation to ask questions that offer you insight you could use or feel the impact of right now, so you don't have to wait. It could also offer a particular way to reflect on what you have been focusing on or trying to find lately.
The World can be (among other things) about completion, ending cycles, a culminination of a journey, coming full-circle, reaching a state of enlightenment or developed maturity. If many of your questions have been future-oriented, what would the answers have given you?
A sense of purpose, a goal to work towards, the reassurance that something is worth the journey, a confirmation that a finish line actually does exist, a promise of something joyful or special entering your life that lets you finally 'start', or maybe the confirmation that you will come out in one piece on the other side of an experience? Maybe this would give you something to work with.
On another note, I was struck by how you initially interpreted the card as telling you that your 'trials' are far from over. The World more generally speaks about life as a journey of self-development and discovery, not as a test or trial that is being imposed onto you that you are required to suffer through to earn your peace. In case this was a bit of a Freudian slip, it might be interesting to use the cards for insight into your own experiences of what you've been through. I find they work great for offering a different perspective on things or for mirroring back the core of your own perspective.
Hope this helps. I wish you so well 💛

The questions weren't future-oriented but the nature of the circumstances kinda guarantees that the results/answers won't show up for another few years. Basically like the person of interest is far away for work and won't be back for a few years type of thing. But I'm pretty sure they'll come back during the winter break tho. Pretty much NC between us but we did call each other recently tho.
As for the answers, I'm getting pretty much negative stuff on my end. Oddly enough, if I ask questions about him, it seemed rather positive overall. Like when I asked about whether I should send/call him a few times, I got like 6 of cups and 10 of cups. But yeah aside from those few (important/significant) occasions, my cards have been indicating that I shouldn't do much more beyond that in terms of contact (which my gut feeling also agrees with).
Interesting thing you said about my interpretation. A while ago, someone took a look at my birth chart and one of the things they said was "nearly all your planets are in the top half of the chart which tends to deal more with the world and others at large, do you have BPD tendencies?" (Or something along the lines of that). But yeah ngl, I'm definitely open to the idea that I do have some bpd tendencies so maaaaaybe I do subconsciously see self-development and discovery as a form of trial and suffering (especially if it's for years). I know I really shouldn't think about it that way but I think it's quite difficult for me at this time. But yeah I do understand it's also probably a sign that the universe wants me to work on myself first before letting me actually get together with someone (even if it's not with the person I'm interested in).
Tysm it has definitely helped! The cards have been pretty consistent so far in their messaging but I guess I'm also in some form of denial haha.

Glad to hear, thank you for the feedback and a bit of your story. It might be kicking at an open door, since black-and-white thinking often seems linked to BPD (tendencies), but as you are starting out with tarot, I'd maybe focus on the conscious/subconscious or a ok for me/difficult for me binary in figuring out the cards, as opposed to a positive/negative one. We ourselves (especially when it comes to self-directed readings) have positive and negative associations with the card meanings, but those may not necessarily be suggested by the cards themselves.
Your example of Six of Cups + Ten of Cups, for instance, could also be hinting at the subconscious intention behind calling possibly being based on wanting to relive (the good parts of) a past connection and perhaps having an ideal image of relational bliss as an extension of this feeling. This is neither positive or negative, but it may give some insight into what underlying need might need your attention. When is the last time you've received a good hug when you needed it most?
As for setting up a great tarot inquiry: I've seen some other tarot readers on here make useful suggestions about switching from "should I x"-questions to "what might happen if I do or don't do x" or "what is behind me wanting (to do) x"-questions. That way, you don't make something or someone outside of yourself the arbiter of what is subjectively attuned to you.
And denial is that protective friend that whisks us away for a cocktail before going back to work. It gives us time and a break before we plunge back into our difficult feelings. It's when going out with that friend becomes a habit more than an incidental intervention that we might want to exchange denial for compassion, so we can at least go back in knowing we have love in our corner.
Take care 💛 NCs are difficult, especially to our nervous systems.

I do try to focus on that usually but I was also pretty sleep-deprived and exhausted yesterday so I definitely slipped up a bit there.
Ok ngl I know it's pretty controversial so ask about other people's feelings in tarot but that's basically what I essentially did and I just tried to phrase that in a less controversial way. Most of the questions were in the format that you suggested. But yeah I pulled a lot of positive cards (with few mid/slightly negative ones) on his end as whereas I consistently pulled negative ones. Ngl, it was definitely killing me seeing nine of swords, ten of swords, seven of wands, the devil, etc. on my end multiple times and I had a feeling his cards would be much more hopeful and happier to look at which is why I kinda resorted to asking about his feelings. (It was certainly much more positive than I expected lmao.) But I didn't really do "what's making me want to do x" as much so maybe that could be helpful. Thank you for the advice.
Also, I did ask about actions I could take for myself and basically it was quite a bit of long-term planning and important decision-making related cards. So yeahhh definitely need to put more work on myself before even considering more contact with him. I don't want to repeat the same history haha
Edit: asking about the approach did indeed yield a more positive outlook. Emperor, sun, four of wands, two of pentacles, king of cups, ten of wands. Added in another card to ask about long term if I continue my approach and it gave me three of cups heh. I think maybe I'll add my interpretation later

I asked what my reputation at work is and I got the four of pentacles reversed.
How would you interpret this?

Ive done tarot for years, and never had an issue where I do not understand the cards like today. Ive had a long day of everything that can go wrong will go wrong, but just little things. Ive been burned 5 times, 3 were in the same spot, the oven caught fire while I was baking, and it just felt like someone was trying to tell me something. I drew cards. Asked what the universe was trying to tell me. Told the deck to give me 4 cards, because my gut said so. I got the 4 of wands reversed, page of pentacles reversed, temperance, and ace of swords. I feel like the order matters. Please help. It feels important. How would you interpret this?

That actually makes alot of sense to me, so thank you. Ive got a myriad of health issues of lots of little things and no true diagnosis, so as soon as I can get work again, I think I'll be heading back to my doctor for more labs, it seems like they find something new every time.

This is gonna sound weird but are/were you about to get your period? Because I get "everything going wrong" days like that (I'm there right now 😭) and honestly I'm seeing it in the cards too:
4 of Wands reversed: "I can't seem to do anything right 😫"
Page of Pentacles reversed: Feeling lazy and chud-like
Temperance: Just wait it out....
Ace of Swords: When you start your period and solve like four personal mysteries you were experiencing (also, could literally represent cramps feeling like a sword)
Again I'm really sorry if this is out of line lmao, this was just my genuine first read of the situation, if I'm projecting then I'm projecting. Hope today has been better! 💕

That is a very interesting take tbh and I never thought that my cycle would come in to play, but im in about the middle of my cycle, right at the start of the luteal phase to my knowledge, so it's gonna be about a week or so. The way you phrased the cards definitely helped me understand a bit better though lol. Oddly enough I had what my mom said is heartburn (I've never had it in my life it just felt like a warm rod in my chest, and it didn't hurt it was just uncomfortable) and some really bad stabbing lower stomach pain today on both sides, so, that's how my day is going lol.

Hey there. You have Two's acting as bookends with the Queen in the middle. This speaks to me about perhaps feeling stuck, unable to make a a decision. The Two of Pentacles could be pointing to just this, and or, saying you're trying to balance two different things at once and it's becoming to much. There may be a need to put something down. The Two of Wands, again, we see indecision here. The fire, drive, is not moving at all. The Queen of Swords Rx is supposed to be the sharp blade that cuts through the noise. . She uses absolute truth, logic, and boundaries to sever what no longer serves her so she can move forward. This is likely an approach you're not taking. All the best

u/OwnHat4136 1d ago
Okay thank you for the interpretation
2
u/Sovereignmindtarot 1d ago
You're welcome. I noticed an error there. The Queen of Swords carries those attributes, being Rx is what points to not taking that approach. All the best

Can I ask for someone's help to get a second opinion on some spreads I pulled? I would be more comfortable through DM

I'm feeling lost in life amd experiencing a loss of sense of self, after experiencing heartbreaks in terms of friendships and stuff (realizing how temporary and impermanence relationships are and you gotta find your own meaning in life) and honesty not knowing what is the right and wrong thing to do for me in life is. Also I'm facing lot of uncertainty career wise also.
I asked the tarot 3 questions,
"What is my big fucking problem"
- 4 of Wands
"What am I like this"
- 3 of swords
"How do I stop being like this?"
- 8 of Wands
Clarity card - King of Wands
-------
My own interpretation is,
I have been changing a happy life, a fully filling life, and I'm not getting it
The reason I'm facing this problem is because of all the grief from all the interpersonal relationships and friendship breaks
To Stop being like this I just need to keep taking actions and don't stop, and also don't get lost in trying to take the right action, and to look at the big picture.
---
Would love another interpretation on all this.

this is a bit funny.
4 of wands - you're you.
3 of swords - they're them.
8 of wands - you find someone to build a life with.
king of wands - who are you thinking of?

What is my big fucking problem"
- 4 of Wands - In life, sometimes we don't have to "feel" a thing to do it. Sometimes we just do the next thing that needs to be done. Your basic structure is sound, doubts are part of change during growth. Build on your foundational beliefs about yourself and life. Remember who you want to be in this world, knowing where you want to stand is the key.
"What am I like this"
- 3 of swords - Your experiences are actively changing your perspectives right now. Give it some time and space. Grief at losses real or hoped for is still grief to allow ourselves to pass through, it doesn't last. It's time for self-deception about relationships to end. You can identify the ways you lie to yourself about the reality, and learn not to believe those thoughts. Get in the journey, instead of goal oriented. Take it moment by moment.
"How do I stop being like this?"
- 8 of Wands - The end is still distant. You have time for growth development along the way. Learn to discern that every spark is not a fire to tend or fuel. Work on relational & behavioral Impulse Control therapeutically.
Clarity card - King of Wands - Do not lower your standards or sacrifice boundaries. Become more wisely selective about who gets the investment of your energies. Develop gratitude and contentment practices. Continue to reframe your thinking to include the positivities, the silver-lining in every brokenness toward the best Self you are becoming through the human experience.
The main continuity among these cards is that you aren't at any destination, and your mindfulness needs to be in the moment. The growth is happening, you're almost in the catching up stage after being stripped back to your joists and subfloor with relational brokenness and such. All good self revelation leads to growth after pruning, to add an agricultural metaphor to the construction reference 😄 Be on the Fool's Journey, take the human curriculum, and stay curious about what you're learning from every experience.
It's a nice human draw, I like it. It also makes me wonder what you were sacrificing of your core values or sense of self to be in past relationships? Or did you not know your own foundational beliefs yet? Sometimes we find out who we are by contrast with who we won't be for other people.

Hello all, first post here and first tarot spread in a long time; you could say ive had some stressful situations arise recently. Some health related, some personal, some are stupid fucking mistakes ive made that could have really bad consequences. So i decided to read the cards, and I pulled all inversions.
-5 of Wands
-The Fool
-The Empress
All inverted. I feel like I'm being told to slow the hell down and consider my actions seriously before I commit to them. Don't make rash decisions and DONT do the dishonorable thing. It feels as though the all inversion pull tells me something just isnt right and needs correcting. Any thoughts or input? Thanks folks

I’m using The Wild Unknown. I have a blended family system deep in conflict. I’ve been trying really hard to be a grownup about it and set my own feelings aside to really focus on what’s best for our kids. The other party…does not do that. I’ve been practicing radical acceptance and humility and emotional regulation. But I am not perfect, and I have sometimes slipped and made selfish, self-serving choices. It’s really hard to not be taunted into retaliatory thinking.
My kids were on the phone with their stepsibling and I took the opportunity to do a family spread with their added presence.
I pulled ten of cups reversed, seven of pentacles reversed, four of cups. My heart told me there were two more cards, I pulled father of wands and mother of wands (and had to stop and laugh because COME ON).
I see our conflict, I see that work needs to be done. I see that we each bring our own energy to the conflict and that we have to own it.
My personal interpretation is that I need to decide what my stance is and fully live it. I basically get the feeling that I have to just be the parent and person I want to be—regardless of the taunting and poking and whatever—I just keep living as the person I’m working on being, someone I’m proud of, someone who our kids can thrive under.
Anything I’m missing or misguided about?
