Open | Audio Microphone making me stutter

I don't know when this started because I only started using my headset in full Bluetooth this last week. I have a Steelseries Arctis Nova 5, I left the dongle at home while I'm at uni. It could be due to my uni Wi-Fi or the fact that I'm using Bluetooth, but recently while on Discord calls, my voice will repeat/stutter. I can't describe it, but if you've heard The Peace by Underscores that's what it sounds like. Discord connection stats show no dropped packets so I have no idea if it's a connection issue.

UPDATE: It is absolutely an issue with the microphone on my headset. I switched to device microphone and another headset and neither had that issue.

Your audio quality drops when your mic is active right? I think it's just Bluetooth ruining your mic quality.

You can get wired mics for cheap and that'll completely circumvent the issue.

I think it's caused by bandwidth limitation or something.

Yeah, but that's not really my issue. I know hands-free telephony is there and messing my quality up and I'm fine with that, the issue is that when I'm talking, what other people hear is my voice basically repeating the last 1-2 seconds of whatever I just said.
