This subreddit is for Irish Free to air shows only

This subreddit is primarily for content from RTE, Virgin or TG4.

Older shows also can be discussed or requested here also to an extent.

We don't allow shows from sky, Amazon or any paid sources.

BBC and CH4 have their own subreddits for requests and generally won't be allowed here with some notable exceptions.

Requests for shows from non Irish channels will be removed and where it is from a paid service, temporary bans handed out to requesters.

The reason we enforce these rules is that other subreddits have been shut for providing such content.

If you are a media owner who's show or content is posted here please report and let us know if you want it removed.

We are an archivist group interested in the long-term preservation of Irish media and arts, we don't intent to infringe on any copyright where the owner wishes to hold onto the media for themselves.

Traitors Ireland Season 2

I put the files up last but they must have been reported because there was a "violation of terms of service" message there when I checked this afternoon. Never seen that before.

For that reason I'd better not continue uploading it.

Sorry folks!

This is a lovely documentary in ISL telling the story about various people who are deaf in Ireland. A few of us went to see it as part of various showings around the country. It is on Tg4 on 26th Sept at 2130. If anyone has the ability to record/upload and can put it here, that would be great.

Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone would have this movie in decent quality by any chance? I see there's a version up on YouTube but it's really low quality and cropped weird.

Thanks. :)

Pigs (1984)

Cathal Black's first feature was set in a squatted house in south inner city Dublin. I saw it many moons ago, probably at the IFC, and while the script was limited the strong atmosphere was ample compensation. Some described it as 'apocalyptic', and today it certainly constitutes a message in a bottle from a very different city.

There were few independent films made in Ireland during this period, so Cathal Black who went on to direct 'Korea' and 'Love and Rage' (with Daniel Craig and Great Scacchi on Achill Island!) is a very interesting and underappreciated figure.

If anyone has a copy, it would be much appreciated.
