As we can see, characters are beginning to resemble each other more and more.

For me it was King, even though he's the character I use the most.

I think it's a pretty solid one, and I like how everyone is on the top row and Heihachi are unlockable.

As of 2026, Tekken 7 has sold ver 12 million copies throughout its lifespan and is the best-selling game in the series surpassing Tekken 5. After Tag 2s failure, Tekken 7 was a gamble a huge gamble that payed off.

I remember Kuma being ranked very high on tier lists during early stages, but as time goes on, he’s been ranked lower and even placed as one of the worst characters in the game? What happened and what caused Kuma to fall off this bad? 🤨🤔

Rank context: in almost 2 months i managed to reach Tekken emperor and went tg before being demoted back, pretty happy considering I'm not a pro
Playing with 19 bucks controller on pc
Everything is a 50/50
Can see the throws but can't react on time (or i react wrong because once i see it it's a 1 or 2 throw i need like i20 to press the button)
Can't react to anything: if i block your low it means i guessed right or i was preparing a 'fc something' or a 'ws anotherthing'
Sometimes i find people that are so aggressive with +frames things into endless strings that the only way i can come back is by heat crush, guess it goes back to the reflex thing for ss but i always get rekt if try it so i avoid ss
Is there a character that can work with a slow brain like mine?
List of chars i usually win against: steve, kazuya, reina, jack, dragunov
List of chars that usually stomp me: hwoarang, jin, bears, yoshi, bob, the occasional low palyrate pick i never practiced against (ie zafina)
Hope at least i gave you a good laugh
Thanks

why did they have to give us those ugly Tekken 7 defaults as alt costumes over the classics

I recently thought about this when i just found myself looking at tekken 8’s dlc, and just for shits and giggles i counted which characters were in tekken 7 both when it dropped and as dlc and a whopping 7 out of the 12 dlc characters are characters we had access to in tekken 7, 5 of those being characters who were also sold as dlc, and i just think that’s really scummy, especially when you compare it to it’s predecessor’s dlc, while the reception at the moment was very touch and go depending on who you’re talking about, generally brought a lot of new flavor and style to tekken 7, newcomers like fahk, leroy, lidia, and not to mention in my opinion they haven’t dropped a character with half of the personality that somebody like negan had, it as a whole just makes the dlc characters feel so negligible and reused, which feels especially bad considering these characters cost more than tekken 7’s did. I’m curious to hear anybody else’s thoughts on this. I also really miss Miguel, i wish he was here 💔
