Tx pro vs tx comp?

New to tele as of last year. I skied the black and orange tx pro, and I’m downsizing 1 size this year. Found a good deal on the comp and the pro, both older models. Ski mad River glen mostly, do some tours here and there but usually if it’s a serious tour I’m in an AT setup. Thanks!

If you don’t need the tech toe, imo the previous version of the comp is the goat resort boot.

Keep in mind the old comp doesnt have toe inserts, which you'll need if youre using a tele tech binding

I have the outlaw x so good to go uphill without tech toe

Touring wise there is near no difference, same walk mode etc. It’s downhill performance that you get out of the comp vs the pro. If you are a strong skier then every single time I’d go with the comp.
