Lara Croft’s adventures in Amazon MGM Studios‘ new Tomb Raider series proved too much for UK safety authorities.

Britain’s Health and Safety Executive, better known as HSE, concluded that the high-profile drama breached UK safety laws during production at Shinfield Studios earlier this year, according to a previously unreported ruling.

Deadline can reveal that Project Temple Productions Ltd, the special purpose vehicle through which Sophie Turner‘s Tomb Raider series is being produced, breached the Health and Safety At Work Act 1974 and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002.

HSE determined that Project Temple Productions Ltd failed to ensure that crew members underwent “biological monitoring” to ensure adequate control measures were in place for the spraying of isocyanate paints, one of the leading causes of asthma in the workplace.

HSE guidance states that appropriate personal protective equipment should be worn when spraying isocyanate paints, and that an “invisible mist” emitted by the substance can take up to 20 minutes to clear. An employer must know the clearance time for the space in which spraying is taking place.

HSE issued Project Temple with an “improvement notice” in April, meaning the company had to take action to remedy a breach of health and safety law. Within a month, Project Temple had complied with the relevant regulations, according to a notice page on HSE’s website.

It is rare for HSE to issue notices against TV shoots, with just four productions being called out by the health and safety watchdog over the past four years. Tomb Raider was the highest-profile of these productions.

Are there any shows that you can think of that really deviate from its original premise, or just really become experimental, but it actually works for the narrative?

S1 is a vastly different show than S5. In fact; each season is a completely different genre.

I mean it starts off as a dark comedy with the characters trying to find purpose, and ends with them surviving a zombie apocalypse lol.

I was watching Veronica Mars the other day, and was disappointed that they changed the theme for season 3. It's the same song, but it's a remix and it doesn't sound great. And apparently they did the same thing for season 4.

I was wondering if there were any other examples of a show changing their theme, and it being a noticeable downgrade. Another example that I can think of is Garfield and Friends. I loved the "Friends are There" song, but part of the way though they got rid of it, and then replaced it again with an even worse song.

And I also remember enjoying a show when I was a kid called Numb3rs, season 1 had "Once in a Lifetime" by the Talking Heads as a theme song, but I guess licensing that song cost too much money, so they replaced it with some generic song that I can't even remember.

The Wild Thornberrys premiered 28 years ago today. Originally a pitch pilot for Fox with Nigel as the main character, it was later retooled as a Nicktoon, spawning five seasons and two movies. Featuring the voices of Lacey Chabert, Tom Kane, Tim Curry, Jodi Carlisle, Danielle Harris, and Flea of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

This series gripped from E01, but what I just actually freaked me out, and very very few movies/TV episode have ever had that effect on me.

I am not going to say more for the sake of people who haven't watched--and for those who haven't watched--WATCH IT!

"Special guest star" of every episode of Lost in Space, Jonathan Harris was granted the highly unusual right to edit scripts, leading to a drastic evolution of the show's tone and humour.

An educated man of refined taste, Harris wrote in countless references to classical literature, poetry and music. He excelled at comedic villainy and reinvented Dr Zachary Smith's character from a purely evil saboteur to a nuanced (and extremely campy) coward plagued by countless mental hangups.

Perhaps most fondly remembered are his neverending alliterative insults directed at Dr Smith's bosom companion, the Robot. Such as "bubble-headed booby!", "mechanical misfit!", "pusillaneous puppet!"

And the ever-woeful cry of "Oh, the pain! The pain of it all!"

I am really excited tonight. Netflix has brought us all 6 seasons of SCTV today. I've heard a lot about it, but never had the chance to watch it till now. Finally, I have the chance to experience classic John Candy, Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara and many others.

What should I expect?

Is Candy's "Johnny Toronto" character in the show? I heard about it from his documentary film "I LIKE ME".

Season 2 dropped last week, and I'm mad at myself for watching it so fast. I know some people weren't hooked by the pilot (to the point they filmed a prequel episode and made that the new pilot), but S2 takes everything that was good about S1 and refines it. I think I cackled like five times an episode.

Great cast chemistry, and the jokes and scenarios kinda give early seasons Always Sunny. Literally the only knock against the season I have is that it's only 8 episodes (9 if you count the new pilot). I need them to renew this show for like a dozen more seasons, because if it gets cancelled like Stumble did, I'm going to sulk for months.

Edit: To the people who are still replying to this asking if they can

1. Just skip S1 and watch S2 or

2. They watched the first episode and didn't like it, does it get any better?

Believe it or not, if you scroll down about an inch you'll see both of those questions have already been asked 30 times over in this very thread.

Mine is Eric Andre on the Eric Andre show who is way more crazy than he is in real life. There’s also Stephen Colbert on the Colbert report but I never watched that one.
