The potato quality for the past few years has been really shameful in all supermarkets.

Tbh food as a whole has been shockingly bad for a while now. Fruit is terrible quality, chicken breasts 90% have woody breast so have crunchy hard texture, pineapples are always cut too early, hard and sour. Avocados rock solid or brown inside. Broccoli on the shelves already going brown and dry.
Just struggle to find any good produce nowadays

Agree 100%. Carrefour in France seem to manage their product range and quality perfectly well. Can’t understand why Tesco fresh produce is generally so poor.

I've been trying different types of potato because the Maris pipers have been really bad lately. Basically all the same problems. Some have been black all the way through and they go mouldy within a week. Never seen this with potatoes before!
