Opinion Favourite Kit?
I just received my 2025/2026 home kit today - waiting in line at Service Ontario and my mind is wandering - what’s your favourite TFC kit of all time? I think the first season and the Onyx are standouts for me.

Opinion Karim The Dream
The club should pounce on the opportunity to sign Karim Benzema now that Al Hilal let him go.. although he’s old I imagine a double striker attack with Sargent + Benzema in Toronto! Loook at his recent goals linked below, we need a goal scorerWatch

Seeking Information Getting season tickets in the south end
I am originally from Toronto and I grew up going to games with my dad who had season tickets throughout my childhood but ended them when I went away to university in 2019. I am now moving back to Toronto later this month for work and I want to get a season membership and seats in the south end myself. I believe you can’t just buy seats in the south end, and I’m pretty sure I need to buy seats elsewhere in the stadium as well as buy a supporters membership before I can relocate the seats. Does anyone know how long that process takes? Will I be stuck in another part of the stadium for several years or will I be able to move into the south end after 1 season? Also does anyone have recommendations for which supporters group to join. I’m not looking to be a hooligan, just love the sport and love singing throughout matches.

Seeking Information Honest question. Why is TFC so far behind the other Canadian teams in terms of youth development?
I’ve been looking into the Canadian clubs and their youth systems, and I’m genuinely curious why Toronto FC seems to be lagging behind Vancouver and Montreal when it comes to developing young talent.
TFC arguably has the biggest market, more resources, and access to an enormous player pool. The GTA alone is one of the biggest soccer talent pools in Canada. Places like Brampton, Mississauga, Vaughan, Scarborough and Markham have huge numbers of young players playing soccer, and Brampton in particular seems to produce an incredible amount of talent.
That’s what makes TFC’s situation confusing to me. You’d think having access to that kind of talent pool would naturally lead to one of the strongest academies in the country.
Vancouver, for example, has produced Alphonso Davies and has developed a reputation for giving young players a pathway into the first team and eventually Europe. Montreal produced Saliba and Ikone.
So why hasn’t TFC been able to capitalize on the GTA talent pool to the same extent?
Is it recruitment? Academy structure? Coaching? MLS roster rules? Is TFC simply not scouting the suburbs effectively enough? Or is the difference between the clubs actually smaller than it appears?
Genuinely curious what people who follow Canadian youth soccer more closely think.

Seeking Information Our first mls game
Hey all, we're bringing my son to our first ever mls game on the 5th for his bday. I wanted to know if there's any experiences or chances for autographs beforehand. I know the cne is going on and I heard you can get a 1st game certificate. Or any other suggestions would be great as we hope to make it special for him. I was hoping to ask someone about player walk outs. Yeah, I heard the team isn't good and that lewandowski will be there. Thanks in advance
Seeking Information Player’s photos/autogrpahs tonight
Does anyone know if I need a CNE admission ticket just to wait at the gates where the TFC and NYCFC players normally arrive and try to get autographs/photos today?
I’m not sure how it works during the CNE this year. Does the CNE setup affect access to that area if I don’t have a ticket for the game, or do the players simply not stop there during the CNE?
Any insight from anyone who has done this before or knows how it works today would be appreciated. Thanks!

Seeking Information First TFC game questions
Hey everybody, I’m travelling to Toronto this week and going to see my first Tfc game and was just hoping to get a couple questions answered:
We’re staying at the Hilton in Mississauga, what’s the best way to get to the game? Is uber or go train better? Also our first time in Toronto so if it’s the go train, any advice about that specifically would be welcomed.
How early should we arrive to the game as we’re planning to spend some time at CNE first. What’s a good amount of time to spend there and is it worth staying after the game for a bit as well.
Is the bag policy still only clear bag (ie no purses) as I saw that post on their website in 2021 but wasn’t sure if that’s still effective or if that was just for Covid.
Thanks for all the help in advance and if you guys have any more advice I’d love to hear it!

Opinion Daniel Salloli
Not enough has been said about Salloli and his contribution to the team on goals and assist . Josh Sargent scored and improving but slow start and needs to show consistency and all the staff is promoting him ,like seriously ? SHOUT OUT to Salloli
Seeking Information Planning on bringing my 10YO to his first football game this Saturday against NYCFC. Any tips and recommendations for a first timer?
Hi guys,
As titled, this will be my 10YO's first time going to a football game so was wondering if you have any particular wisdom to share? I've done a bit of a research and got the gist:
Mid section is better than low section to catch the plays
West end seats avoid the sun
Fan section is expected to stand and probably not a great idea
Food and drinks will be expensive so prep before hand (what else is new...)
Any particular players to watch for? I'm not familiar with the roster (sorry guys)
Other than that, I don't know much - do they have first experience packages for kids (think they do that for the Leafs?)?
How about parking? We're coming from way up town, I do understand public transit is recommended but I don't think I wanna chance missing two GO train trips.
Any tips on scoring a discount on tickets? I've seen tickpick mentioned but it seems the official site (ticketmaster yuck) was surprisingly cheaper on the resales...
With this being the CNE weekend as well, should I just expect utter chaos around the area?
Sorry for the bombardment of questions, but figure I'd give asking a try. Thank you all!
Edit: just want to mention Ticketmaster is an absolute wanker and anti-customer. Was trying to purchase a combination of 2 resale + 1 standard ticket, told me to purchase separately, that's fine. Purchased the resales, but when I try to purchase the remaining 1 standard ticket now it says I can't leave a single seat open, WTF?!? Called TM support and they were absolutely zero help, unwilling to refund the resales tickets (that's understandable) and unwilling to help me purchase the one remaining ticket. Explained the situation multiple times but the rep just kept telling me that's their policy and I should be aware before purchase (except there was ZERO mention that this was gonna be a problem). Can't workaround it by reserving the other seat either as there are only two seats there.
Trying to contact MLSE right now but I don't anticipate that to go any better. What an absolute nightmare... Now I know why everyone is so pissed at Ticketmaster all the time.
So yeah, NOTE for any future visitors - be aware you can't leave a single seat open in your purchase!!
Edit 2: TFC came through!! Helped me purchase the remaining ticket with very little hassle (after a long wait on the call... but it was worth it). Ticketmaster can suck a bag of ****

User Created Content STH - reasons you're considering NOT renewing
I've been reading different threads about people suggesting they won't be renewing their season tickets. I figured Toronto FC would be interested in understanding why, so why not make a dedicated thread to it and the real risk they are running here if not addressed. I would also open this up to non-STH who are considering but hesitating committing.
I'll start as a non STH (former STH). For me it was and continues to be, the cost of the game day experience. Beer should be cheap, same with food. You can generate more revenue/profit by getting more bums in the seats, but squeezing through an expensive game day experience is what keeps me away.
The new standing area which I believe will be on top of the boxes would be a great place to have a $5 beer cost cap. Cap a hot dog and hamburger at $5 each.
Of course, put a winning product on the field and don't gouge fans when there are more bums in the seats to pad profits.

WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT Thanks for the patches, unfortunately this season might be my last.
Unless they drop the price of a season ticket like 2013 then maybe. Life is getting too expensive to justify paying for the product on the field. <sigh>

WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT Pssst, you can get Chicago fc tickets for $40-80 using the presto link
Just letting y’all know, they’re hella expensive otherwise
