Then some lad came up to her and asked if she wanted a lick of his cornetto. Weird.

In this episode, for once, nothing actually goes wrong in the end. Instead, it ends with the four main characters laughing together and having fun.

In an episode of The Inbetweeners, something may go right at first but then it would suddenly go wrong and end with the characters getting humiliated in some way. However, this is the only episode where something doesn't go wrong in the end.

However, something did nearly go wrong in this episode when Donovan was about to attack Will for talking to Charlotte but thanks to everyone else standing up for Will and Donovan gets humiliated when Charlotte walks away, the bad ending where Will could've been beaten up was avoided.

To prove my point even more, here's a list of all the other episodes (excluding this one and the movies) and why things went wrong in their endings:

First Day- Out of frustration over not getting served, Will grasses everyone up over being underage and gets everyone kicked out of the pub.

However, even if Will hadn't done that, everyone would've been kicked out anyway since Mr. Gilbert showed up.

Bunk Off- Will and Simon get into trouble with their parents, Simon ruins his date with Carli while vomiting on her brother and got into trouble with Mr. Gilbert for pretending to be their parents on the phone even though only Simon did that.

Meanwhile, Jay and Neil get away with it.

Thorpe Park- After accidentally insulting the disabled on a rollercoaster, Will causes them to vandalise Simon's car and steal the steering wheel, leaving them stranded and Simon having to call his dad to pick them up.

Will Gets a Girlfriend- After failing to have sex with Charlotte, she breaks Will's heart when she dumped him and went on a blind date without telling him.

However, at least Simon and Jay came to cheer Will up with Neil's dilemma with Susie, so at least that weren't all bad.

Caravan Club- Neil makes a mess all over Simon's car's seats, making everyone get out of the car and argue on the motorway.

The Field Trip- The boys get stuck on a boat, Simon is naked after falling in the sea and the students and locals on the shore laughed at them.

Work Experience- After Simon gets attacked by Danny Moore, he tells his Northwood friends and now they're in danger of being attacked by them.

Wolfie refuses to help them, so Will had to call his mum to pick them up which caused them to get humiliated by the PA system.

Will's Birthday- Will catches Patrice having sex with Charlotte and then the four lads get chased by a psycho with a bat just because his sister accused them of being paedophiles.

Night Out in London- Will and Simon fail to pull Carli and Rachel, get upstaged by Adam and Dean, Jay and Neil got kicked out because Neil was accused of masturbating in the toilets and Simon's car gets clamped by an angry man who wants £200.

Duke of Edinburgh- The boys get fired from their volunteer job at the retirement home just because Jay was caught enjoying himself in an old lady's bedroom.

Also, Will got dumped by Daisy because of his bald testicles.

End of Term- Will poops his pants in the exam and Jay gets dumped by Chloe because "his cock was too big for her" and Simon gets rejected by Carli because she's back with Tom.

Fashion Show- Simon gets into trouble with Mr. Gilbert for a wardrobe malfunction and Will gets his heart broken by Charlotte again for the final time.

The Gig and the Girlfriend- Will gets peer pressured into eating cannabis which makes him go high in a bad way and he was sent to hospital.

Will's Dilemma- Will gets grounded and kicked out of Neil's 18th birthday party just because he dumped Kerry and made her cry and everyone believed her lies about him trying to take advantage of her.

Trip to Warwick- Tara breaks up with Simon after he gets angry over not being able to get an erection during sex, Neil pees on Will and Jay tried to sexually assault Sophie and Heike when he was drunk.

This causes Sophie to kick all four out of her house, they all had to sleep in the car all night and leave for home the next morning while still in their pyjamas and Simon was naked, again.

Home Alone- An angry neighbour comes shouting at the door and threatening to physically assault them for vandalising his garden.

Then, Jay cries when he gets a text from his dad saying that he's put the dog down for pooping indoors.

Jay blames himself because it was actually him who pooped on the floor and he didn't intend to get Benji killed. Luckily, Neil was there to comfort him.

The Camping Trip- Simon's car rolls into the lake because of Jay and Neil letting go of it which made Simon very angry.

Later on when they tried to sleep in the tent, everyone except for Will vomited all over each other because the sausages they cooked and ate on the bonfire weren't cooked properly. Will never ate one and that's why he didn't vomit.

This caused the boys to have to walk a long way home at night since the car is stuck in the lake.

And there you have it, Xmas Prom is the only episode where nothing goes wrong in the end.
