Plus, so much pop culture today sucks. MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice, the obscene 2 Live Crew, Madonna, Michael Bolton, Color Me Badd, Gerardo, Paula Abdul, New Kids on the Block, Wilson Phillips, Warrant, Winger, Poison, Slaughter, Trixter, Firehouse, Nelson, Mr. Big, Ugly Kid Joe, and the list goes on. We have pop stars that lipsynch to other people's voices like C+C Music Factory and Blackbox. The unfunny Andrew Dice Clay is selling out Madison Square Garden and hosting "Saturday Night Live".

Hopefully the 1990's will be better in the future.

The coming year is going to go down in history as a great new beginning for Rome, with enlightened and restrained leadership. Long live Pertinax!

Guys, what should I do?

The British press just announced that Princess Diana has passed away...how are you guys feeling about this? The People's Princess is dead...she was due to return to London to be with her boys but this tragedy struck....She got into a car crash in Paris in the early hours of August 31st, then she went into cardiac arrest, doctors attempted to revive her to no avail.

I’ve just been woken up in my room on Buck’s Row in the East End of London by an absolute racket on the street.

Even though it’s four in the morning and not light yet the neighbours are all out there and being held back by the Peelers. When I came out wrapped in a shawl over my nightgown (to protect my dignity and because it’s a bit chilly!) I immediately saw my next door neighbour, who reckons there’s been a murder and the body of the woman is still at the end of our street!

I’m in shock. Whilst this isn’t the most salubrious part of town and we’re used to a bit of fighting and the like, murder isn’t a usual part of life here. I’m scared, is this the beginning of something horrible? At least we know that we’ve got the Peelers protecting us now, I suppose. I’m sure that they’ll find whoever has done this in no time and bring him to justice swiftly.

His 9 month old son, Henry VI is now king. Long live the king!

By God’s holy grace, it is now certain: I am quick with child! My heart doth overflow with exceeding joy. Yet, my maidens whisper that the gown I have chosen is somewhat unseemly for this blessed hour. How say you all?
