hi, i'm having trouble with my cc showing up in CAS specifically clothes and hairstyles. i have a LOT of cc installed and only around 4 pieces show up in game, which is odd because they show up in the little list pop up when you open the game and script mods work perfectly fine, buildmode cc also works, it's just CAS. I've tried everything; installed a mod manager, looked through every single category in cas, got rid of any broken cc, deleted cache files, updated everything to my game version, dumped all the cc onto the main mod folder and even opened some of the files on sims4studio and changed some details in hope they would show up, but it's useless.

at least 90% of the cc comes with it's corresponding mesh and looks completely fine on sims4studio, i really can't understand what's the issue and I've found other people with the same problem, but a solution is never provided

I play an old version of the game from 2021 because the latest releases are absolutely unplayable with mods and break all the time, but most cc online is from that time or older. please help :(

In a cc horder… i’m not gonna lie with that fact. I’d literally pay for someone to organise it for me as my folder has like over 95gb🤣

however it’s not worth paying money for it. Can people please suggest how i would organise it. I used sims 4 mod manager so its organised basically by creator but since its not the only place i used to download mods its has gotten out of control.

How does one work exactly? I’m thinking of getting one for my laptop, but what I’m wondering is

If I get one and put all my sims stuff on it (all my mods and cc, add ons, etc) so I have more space on my laptop, if i plug the hard drive in will it all show up and I’ll be able to play the sims like normal? And then once I’m done playing for the day, can I just unplug the hard drive and the sims stuff stays on the hard drive so I still have space on my laptop?

If this isn’t how it works, please explain it to me like I’m a toddler. I know a lot of sims players use one for all their mods and cc

I had it in game and deleted some cc and accidentally selected it , i clear out my recycled and realised after clearing it was gone . it looks exactly like this! small record player, does anyone know? thank you x
