In particular a concrete block downstairs getting converted - i.e. shower, toilet & kitchenette installed, maybe a couple of small windows in a concrete block wall at ground level. Keen to get a feel as to what's required consent / plans wise, potential ballpark cost.

Hey everyone this is my first kind of post like this, I'm unsure what to do as I've been assaulted thos evening in my car, unfortunately I accidentally cut someone off at around 6:40pm on the Wairere drive overbridge heading towards Te Rapa Road. At the lights turning right he got out of his car, approached my vehicle and proceeded to punch my window twice before breaking my wingmirror, when winding down the window(which in hindsight was a really stupid idea) he reached in and punched me in the face resulting in my mouth bleeding, my upper lip bruised and swollen and my gums being ripped open due to my teeth piercing the gum. Unfortunately my dashcam didn't capture it and my memory is foggy on what his plate was due to how scared I was, I do remember it was a darker blue toyota echo and that it was a younger looking Maori man who got out. If there is anything I can really do I would really like to know, I know its a long shot, but had anyone seen it at all or has dash of their own that would be much appreciated.

I have an opportunity to work in Auckland CBD. I live in Queenwood. The job is great and money is good. Unfortunately it's not hybrid and I'd have to go into the office every day. Ideally I'd leave at around 6 am and leave work around 4.

Te Huia would be fine except I don't want to get home so late. Id consider driving up to the South line and train it in from there.

Anybody do this commute? Is it a killer? The job might be worth it, but wife can't move to Auckland.

Where are the best places in Hamilton to run with a buggy? I don’t mind if there are hills etc, I would just prefer a route with nice footpaths. The footpaths where I live are rough 😅.

I'm not on socials so I can'tcheck their pages but wondering if anyone is a member with either BFT Hamilton North or BFT CBD or Common Ground Gym? I am wanting to switch up my workouts to group environments and enjoy HIIT, strength and cross fit style workouts etc but I'm 38, have never worked out in a class environment before and have usually just worked out from home or at stupid hours of the morning in the gym alone so this is getting way out of my comfort zone. • Batter thickness - is it the same as the fish batter? Tends to get soggy vs the lighter coating that survives sitting in the sauce

I have a vague childhood memory of a place which hosted kids birthday parties in the mid 1990’s, it was like this “fairy” place and I can remember sitting in a room with all these “magical” things and a lady who we all thought was a real fairy, doing magic tricks.

Oh and she handed out film canisters with glitter inside. Does anyone else remember this or is it a fever dream?
