Question James' Train.

So....James hates pulling freight and loves pulling passenger trains. This we know.

So, what passenger trains does he pull? Gordon is the main express engine and I don't recall him working on a specific branch line?

Gordon works on the Main Line. James probably also does but maybe I'm missing something. I don't really think too deeply about this stuff.

Gordon is the express. James and Henry are shown pulling locals or semi-fast trains.

More frequent stopping trains

The express wouldnt be the only passenger train running on the main line.

The express would be a fast service running mostly bigger stations whereas James would likely run trains that stop at every (or nearly every) station

Not every passenger service on the amin line is the Express I imagine.

The Express just has the prestige, and the perk of not having to make frequent stops, once it gets going, the engine pulling gets a good long run until they have to stop.
