It's heavy! Vintage steel Hollywood Regency 3 panel screen

Found these at my local Habitat Restore. They are HUGE! The stems are sturdy and they have leaves. They will certainly make a statement as part of my Christmas decorations!🎄
For scale, these are on a queen sized bed.

At the Goodwills by me they run dollar days where a specific color ticket is only $1.49. This is one of my favorite days to rummage through the stores, and look what I found on my last trip there. These are Salvatore Ferragamo ballet flats. When I checked their site these were listed at $980. I paid a total of $1.49 and no tax since it was a tax holiday. Score!

Not 100% on the year and collection they’re from, I’m assuming 03-04. This pair of hedi era Dior denim was a true bucket list thrift I never thought I’d actually come across. Just goes to show that it does not matter the thrift store or the time you’re there, anything can happen. I love these so much the whiskering is perfect.

This is when I'm happy that younger people are pricing stuff and I get over the price tags being placed on expensive book dust covers, covering makers marks, and antique photos (yes, right on an antique photo and not the back or the frame). I'm elated!!!

I've seen different opinions on how to clean second hand shoes. I've got a couple pairs of nice running shoes (sneakers/runners or however you wanna call them) and I'm curious if taking out the laces is really necessary? I understand the swaping insoles part but why shoelaces? Can I just use 70% rubbing alcohol to wipe the inside instead of buying specific products?
