Noticed the wheel was low on air compared to others so decided to check it out and I see this bs. The tire is not even 2000 miles old and it got a nice screw on the side. Im certain any damage on the side is bad but is it reparable with a plug?

(SOLVED) cheetah and a bicycle inner tube did the trick.

All 4 tires have 2022 DOT. Tread is fine on all 4 - roughly 30k ish miles on them.

About to do a long drive for Labor Day weekend (1,000 highway miles)

Two months ago this customer came to my shop asking for an specific brand for his car and I quoted him $XXX for the tires including mounting and balance (I don't charge extra for the disposal and I don't sell used tires I make them irreparable), but he checked a major shop chain and told me it was cheaper with them and told him "that's ok I can't compete in terms of price with them". I didn't ask how much was it but I knew I was giving him a reasonable price, and when I checked online what price he was given my price was literally $20 more.

He later came for some other maintenance in his car and I checked the "new" tires he got and they were from 2023 and let's say wherever they stored those tires it wasn't under the best conditions. The ones I get are always "fresh".

Is this fixable?

Is this puncture too close to the sidewall for repair? Tire shop said they wouldn't do it but I have done them on my own a bit just never this close. Would a plug and patch hold here? Tires only have one season and they are Bridgestone Blizzaks.

I have a problem wheee the front tire on driver side will make a bad grinding noise when driving, the noise will change as the speed gets faster, but I have a feeling it’s the rotors but I’m not sure

I plan to get tires at discount tire as they price match. I’ll likely have to add the warranty on my tires, for the price match so it could be between 100-200 extra to add the warranty to them.

I will replace OEM Yokohama tires on my Corolla Hybrid with 15” wheels. I stopped by local tire shops and Mavis , most of them recommended one of these , I want to get good mpg and better traction than OEM. Hankooks, Dunlop and Yokohama are low rolling resistance tires, not sure about their comfort and traction. Any recommendations for any of those?

Hi folks. I have a new (to me) 2025 Trax LT that I am looking to buy new snow tires for. Since I am in Buffalo, snow tires are a must. Currently, I am looking at Bridgestone Blizzaks, Nokian Nordman 9s, and maybe Cooper Evolution Winters. Does anyone have any experience with any of these that you can give me a first-hand review. I am also entertaining any other recommendations based on your experience.

2024 Toyota Tundra Platinum 4x4 I recently got a 3.5 inch Rough Country Lift and am looking to get some nice aggressive looking all terrains without destroying my wallet. Im running the stock 20in aluminum wheels and dont feel the need to change them out (unless i have to). I like the look on some other people's trucks that have 33x12.5s but im open to suggestions. Help please!

I wanted some input on the tires I should get. I've narrowed it between the Michelin Defender 2 and the Pirelli P4 Persist AS Plus. I had the Michelin Defender T&H before and had no issues and I drive a 2017 Toyota Camry. I typically drive 12k miles a year and the weather is pretty average among big cities in the south. Looking to help my step dad get large tires for his truck. We already have the wheels lined up but his tire guy is telling him the Alibaba tires are the same as the name brand ones.

I just wanted to ask as in hesitant to believe that; and I always prefer safety items on a car to be tested correctly and name brand.

Bought this April 2026, no track, daily commuter, no more than 250km/week travel, Montreal Area for climate. No mechanical issue other than serviced front arm bushings on April.

Need second opinion other than abnormal tread wear.

Edit: A/S stand for Acoustic/Sound deadening, not all season.
