Today is September 1st meaning there has been that price hike is officially taken place so we can put another $50 in shiggys pocket!

I was shopping the other day, and I came across a pair of the wireless SNES controllers for Switch. They seemed used but in good condition, so i bought them for $12.99 each. When i got home, my flatmate and I started playing Super Mario Kart, and that's when her boyfriend asked if we had another controller so he could play Super Metroid. So I look up the controllers on the GameStop app, and lo and behold, they should have actually been listed for $34.99 each! Apparently I had found some items that were incorrectly labelled as what should have been wired SNES Classic controllers.

Fortunately, my receipt showed the items were in fact wrong, so I took them back to my local store to get that fixed. Technicaly, that involved processing a ref*nd, but I immediately bought them back at the full correct price, plus the third controller.

When Shingyaru Mintmobile invented the Picross some several decades ago, he knew that his indie dev team cooked during the execution of the concept which was first unveiled to the world in the title Mario's Picross in 1995. It's so much fun and everyone's gotta play it more than a few times to get a full taste of this Nintendo Experience. And because of this successful innovation, he collabbed with another fellow starving indie dev Crypton Media in 2021 to give birth to Hatsune Miku: Logic Paint S. But this puzzler has more than what meets the eye. So here are some obscure facts!

• This game was the very first game in my collection to star Hatsune Miku, seeing as I got it in March 2023.

• Critics gave this title a 6/10 but that's because they have poor taste and are generally not supposed to be trusted.

• The art style within this game is far better than people are giving it credit for.

• This game introduced a few new official Hatsune Miku soundtracks like Colouring, Life Is A Puzzle, Last Piece, and Particle Miracle.

• You can randomize whatever music plays within the game by going to the bottom of the Settings screen.

• This was also my introduction into the wide and wonderful world of Picross. And the funny thing is that I'd also pick up Mario's Picross in that same year.

• There are a total of 1,000 different levels within the game. I am not joking.

• This game confirms that there isn't a real Hatsune Miku canon, ​but rather interpretations that vary wildly depending on the scenario.

• There's a Deluxe version of the game known as Logic Paint S+.

• This version adds triple the amount of content and puzzles within the original, as well as including a voice for Hatsune Miku.

• Now I actually found out about this game thanks to me watching a Japanese streamer playing a speed run of the game on her Switch.

- So what do you do if you need to get a 100×100 artwork into a 10×10 space? Miku could figure that out with a game of Picross.

While the list of facts are shorter than something like Marlborough Kart Wii, I still think these are worth noting. Especially because it's Hatsune Miku's birthday in the Nin Tendo Empire.

MARIO PLAY FASTER SO THAT WAY SHE CAN GET OUTTA THERE

I've been a Nintendo fan for as long as I can remember and in those 34 years I've always had to deal with a fair share of people who aren't a fans of the company. That's fine, everyone's entitled to their own opinion and I'm not blind to the not good things about the company but this year has been in particular a real sore spot for me.

Basically, I could ignore most people online talking trash but as of late I've had made new friends in person or online that ended up dropping how much they hate Nintendo and what's even more frustrating is that my younger sibling is the same way.

Now, this person doesn't know this but I eventually stop hanging out with them because I just got really tired of it. For whatever reason, these people aren't just contempt with disliking a video game company, no they have to be extremely vocal and vicious about it like it's the worst thing ever. It just really kills my enjoyment with hanging out with them.

Now I can't do that to my siblings so I've been really vocal about keeping their opinions to themselves whenever we're hanging out but recently had another encounter of someone I was vibing with only to drop that they are a Nintendo hater. At this point it's just exhausting and it just makes me want to cut ties with them immediately.

I don't know how often this is happening to other people but it's just something that's been really bothering me as of late. I've got the Nintendo switch 2 and been having a lot of fun with the games that I own I just wish its something I could express more without the weird backlash of people around me personally.

I’m so sick of all these people that think they’re gamers. No, you’re not. Most of you are not even close to being gamers. I see these people saying “I paid well over 100$ for this game, it’s great!” that’s nothing, most of us can easily pay 300+ dollars in all our games. I see people who only have a PS4 and claim to be gamers. Come talk to me when you pick up a joycon, then we be friends.

Also DEAR ALL WOMEN: Genshin is not a real game. God Of War is not a real game. Fallout is not a real game. Marvel Rivals is not a real game. GTA6 is not a real game. Non-nintendo games are NOT. REAL. GAMES. put down the baby games and play something that requires challenge and skill for once.
