In the lore Necrarchs are so busy with their studies and experiment that they forget to feed. That's while they are emaciated af.

Except Zacharias, which solved The Thirst forever by feeding on a dragon (like Abhorash did) and raised it as his mount.

Necrarchs are largely sustained by pure dark magic and feed less than other vampires. Its being a constant pump of dark magic that makes them look even more fucked up than most vampires.

It is easy to see this reddit's double standard between the posts. This has upvotes because canonically they're male vampires and that can be upvoted. But the other post has females and they have breasts and that must be down voted.

It is kinda funny how the bloodline that is all about seduction is getting more armor while the ugly ones are now more revealing. You would have thought it would have been the opposite.

Then again ca did pull this twist when they added dark elves devoted to slaanesh last year. Like you wouldn't have expected them to be covered in armor either.
