Official Announcement on the Reitaisai Website

For the upcoming 13th iteration of Fall Reitaisai, which will be held on Sunday, October 4th, 2026 at the Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo, Japan, the Reitaisai planning committee have announced changes to its ticketing policy and pricing that will take effect during this upcoming Reitaisai and future Reitaisai events (though this is subject to change). The changes are as follows;

• All ticket purchases now include the event catalogue. The event catalogue for Reitaisai features helpful information such as the venue map, circle list, and other aspects of the event such as catering services that will be available. During the last couple of years, the event catalogue was an optional purchase as tickets were tied to the LivePocket ticketing service, so this policy change is essentially a return to form when Reitaisai tickets were tied to the purchase of a catalogue.
• A General Participation ticket is included with a copy of the catalogue. The Reitaisai catalogue will be sold at various Japanese bookstores beginning on September 19th for 3000 Yen. For general participants, this is a 1000 Yen increase from the 2000 Yen pricetag for tickets on LivePocket. Catalogues with an included ticket will also be sold on-site during the day of the event for 3000 Yen, and catalogues without a ticket will also be available during the event for 1000 yen as well.
• The Cirno Fast Pass and Sakuya Cosplay Passes have increased in price. Both the Cirno Fast Pass and Sakuya Cosplay Pass have received price increases to 5000 Yen. Previously, the Cirno pass was sold for 3000 Yen, whereas the Sakuya pass was sold for 4000 Yen. Both of these ticket types will be available via LivePocket beginning on September 5th, with the Cirno pass being sold via lottery as per usual. Participants who purchased either the Cirno or Sakuya ticket will receive an event catalogue on the day of the event during ticket check-in.

With this new change in ticketing policy, it may be difficult for international participants to purchase their tickets on time for the event, as previously LivePocket made it so participants can purchase their tickets in advance before the event. If you are planning on attending this upcoming Reitaisai, my server Organized Touhou Networking in Japan (Discord Invite) will be hosting a meet-up during the event and assisting others with the ticket purchase process in the month leading up to event. However, please note that the server is resticted to users 18 and older as a safety precaution.
