I lowkey feel like there are a lot of people who hide a misogynistic disdain for femininity behind “woke” criticisms like criticizing a feminine design for “not making sense”

I saw a critique of Dawn from Pokémon earlier that made me think about this because the criticism was that she’s an adventurer so she shouldn’t be thin and she’s wearing a skirt which doesn’t make sense for someone traveling and that wouldn’t be an issue if it weren’t for the fact no one ever criticizes the male characters for the same thing - in those games all of the same criticisms can also be applied to Lucas and his baggy ass pants but they never fucking are

Hell I have legitimately had people tell me to my face that the fact that I love skirts is inherently offensive because it is playing off of the gender stereotypes associated with women and I should only wear them on occasion

There’s nothing wrong with wanting more diverse female characters, but just blindly hating feminine female characters is not woke, masculine women absolutely deserve more representation, but that’s not really a fair thing to bring up against more feminine women in media

And I swear they do not give a shit about masculine men it’s only ever feminine women that get this speech

It’s like taking the patriarchal mindset of “Man good woman bad”, and adjusting it ever so slightly to “Masculine good feminine bad”

And for the record I do agree with the final criticism that Dawn’s platinum design needed leggings lmao

So… I might come out to my dad and admit to both parents that I’m 3.5 months on E. I’ve been in a constant state of near panic attack for the last several days and I think that might be part of the problem or help a bit. I’d be able to grow my girldrobe. I’m just crashing very hard and crying quite a lot and overwhelmed with a lot of things and I just don’t know what to do. I just know I probably should tell them. I do have a safe place I can go to if I’m forced out of the house though.

I’m trying to find a cover of Sunday Morning but a quarter of them remove 90% of the instrumentals a quarter of them are genre bends (something I don’t normally mind but for this specific song I want the original) and then the last half feels the need to make sure you know the singer is straight so she replaces the “she” in the song with “he”

This has happened with other songs as well

I was sitting on a chair in the lobby in front of the changing rooms at a HM with my wife on my lap. She was wrapping herself around my neck while I was gently holding her waist so she doesn’t fall off. We were just talking and laughing.

Then this girl maybe 14-15 comes up to me and my wife and says “hello….. uhhh wow are you two dating” and her eyes really lit up and we say yes. And she says “wow I’ve never seen 2 women together openly this is so beautiful. You look so good together”. She then takes a pause and says “are you two gonna marry 🥹…. pls marry”

This got me so moved I’ve been thinking of it every day when I’m down. Geez I rly came a long way 🫶

I tried everything to leave Russia long time and seem like I could never leave Russia forever because of some serious reasons, gender dysphoria got too bad this year

I'm curious what places in Russia I can go to atleast be in women place or something to do with women or feminine, because I want feminity and women too much

I know that Russia is hell for LGBT peoples but I trying to find red line where this is legal in Russia and with such gender dysphoria, I don't have other choice
