I know they probably planned this short film in advance, but the fact that this not only reunites Peter Cullen and Frank Welker as Optimus Prime and Megatron for the final time but also serves as Peter's final performance as Optimus (and quite possibily overall) makes this a very powerful swan song. I, for one, look forward to seeing it in theaters.

The same too that it will very likely be Frank's last performance as Megatron, at least Sunbow Megatron. As far as I recall, he'd previously "retired" that voice due to the strain it put on his ageing vocal chords, but presumably is doing it one last time for this short.

Throughout all of this, my condolences have been with Frank especially. After all, he and Peter were such good friends. This short film is just the right way to bring closure.

Man this is all I needed. I don't know if I can hear Frank as Megs without Peter as Prime..but if he does continue in honor of Peter that's awesome but if he retires as Megatron but stays as Soundwave I honesty wouldn't mind
