The first one is self-explanatory. You can find footage from Gamescom on youtube and other social media where people were able to play with it.
The second one doesn't seem to work right now, at least for trucks. I reached 92-93 mph in Mack Anthem and then braked to zero three times, with three different values of the setting: 0%, 100% and 200% (g_cam_fov_speed 2) and there was no FOV change. Even setting it to 10 had no noticeable effect.
I wonder what direction will it work? Will it increase FOV for that "cinematographic" effect, or will it reduce FOV to simulate "tunnel vision" that's typical while driving Autobahns at high speed, when drivers can only comprehend the lane they're in.
EDIT: A developer confirmed it doesn't work for trucks either.

Does anyone here know what the power steering on a large bus or truck feels like? Does a wheelbase like an R5 , say , paired with ETS2 generate realistic force feedback and torque?
I've seen tons of reviews on the size , shape , etc. But I would like to know if any real truckers or people who have had experience turning a truck wheel would say this is a close replication of it.
Thanks!

I had asked earlier about the choice between DAF and Mercedes. The DAF fit my container trailer like a glove.

So, what I like to do is just pick a job at the company I just delivered to. This way I don’t drive without a trailer and it’s convenient when I delivered to pick one right away. Only downside is that sometimes the jobs don’t take me where I wanna go.

Hi!
I made a free truck sim companion. Honestly it was a personal project and some friends told me to make it public.
The app can be used on both web desktop and mobile with a portable .exe installed on PC. You can also download everything from the GitHub repo provided in the web.
It serves as an external GPS and shows other info like job pay, speed, speed limit, cruise speed, ETA and wear/damage.
It uses the telemetry SDK (link provided in the web).
It works in ATS and ETS2.
Feedback is appreciated.
Hope you like it!

**ATS has never truly felt massive at 1:20 scale.**
That’s why we’re building something different.
We’re developing a serious **1:10 scale ATS map project** focused on realism, long-distance immersion, dense scenery, authentic road design, and journeys that finally feel like driving across the real America.
Development is already well underway, with substantial in-game progress being made. We’ve assembled a growing team of creators and are continuing to expand to take the project even further.
**We’re currently looking for:**
• Map editors — terrain, roads & detailing
• Asset creators — custom models & scenery
• Prefab/intersection editors
• Road realism & detailing specialists
This is an **unpaid passion project**, but we’re treating it seriously, with long-term goals, high standards, and an emphasis on quality over rushing development.
The goal is simple: **build an ATS map that actually feels massive.**
If you want to help create one of the most ambitious ATS map experiences out there, **now is the time to join.**
Interested? DM me or join our Discord:
**discord.gg/fQF35aYrcx**
**Sincerely,**
**TGM Map Team**

I was a patient boy and waited for an update in hope the bloody MUSIC PLAYER will finally work for me. Not that radio stream or game radio, i want my music and I STILL CAN'T HAVE IT! It's just lying into my face each time i check, full of hope, utterly disappointed each and every time.
I always listened to my music which i regularly changed the files to refresh the stack. But it's broken in both ATS and ETS2 since last update when they introduced that new player, it never detects the mp3 files.
Anybody has a clue why? So far i deleted games and documents folders, each reinstallation or just file verification being a disappointment.

Faults in the concrete construction were observed in the spring of 2025 and IKEA immediately closed the store until further notice. They have not released specifics regarding the problem, but the main suspicion is regarding the concrete reinforcement.
The warehouse consists of multiple concrete floors placed on pillars with parking spaces underneath.
Edit: I’m just sharing interesting facts about Uppsala here I don’t know what everyone is so upset about.

Some people managed to get DLSS5 working on ETS2 in RenoDX Discord. Photos taken from RenoDX Discord by user named llcix. No Graphic Mods used, only DLSS5 NR and LumeniteFX.
Reddit massacred the image quality, so if you want the non-compressed versions, you can find them here: https://imgur.com/a/S5EBpG7

Also now I know vertical-lift bridges are functional in this game, started a few days ago.
(Didn't even realize it was one of those bridges, was looking ahead for oncoming cop cars.)

I’m pretty sure my previous Pizzster 389 save became corrupt as I could only travel so far before the game crashed. I started a new profile and built this beast. It came out pretty well. Southern Skinnings lights are amazing.
