Thoughts are that I might watch it tonight, but tell me straight: is it really worth watching, or should I skip it?

what’s the best drunk acting you’ve ever seen in a movie or tv show? for me, it’s Charlie Day as Charlie Kelly in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. the way he plays drunk is genuinely fucking incredible. the voice, the movements, the facial expressions, the way he talks, it’s so ridiculously convincing and hilarious. every time i watch him, i’m just thinking, “how does this man not have an oscar for this?”

I would like to know about some other TV shows (including anime, cartoons, sitcoms, etc.) where the main actor (or titular character) of the TV show was replaced for some reason (any reason; death, contract, schedule, etc?)

The one I can think of is Spartacus, where Andy Whitfield passed away and Liam McIntyre took over the roll of Spartacus in the final 2 seasons.

I’m on the fence to start Silo.

I love Paradise, mainly because it shows a realistic post apocalyptic world. I’m intrigued when said disaster occurs and the immediate after-effect is played out. Largely why I enjoyed the first “The Greenland” move and Season 1 of “The Last of Us”.

The last ship also is interesting to me.

Where does Silo sit for post apocalyptic shows? Does it have realism or purely sci-fi out of this world? Character development and relationship arcs?

If you need help, open the HBO Max app or visit the official Help Center and look for the contact/support options. Depending on your location and the type of problem, you may be offered chat or another way to reach a support representative. The available options can also vary depending on whether HBO Max bills you directly or your subscription is handled through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, a TV provider, or another company.

One other thing that seems worth checking before contacting support is who actually bills your subscription. HBO Max’s help information says you can find the billing provider in your subscription settings. If another company handles the billing, you may need to contact that company for billing, cancellation, or refund questions.

I’d also recommend not posting your email address, phone number, account details, payment information, verification codes, or screenshots containing personal information publicly on Reddit.

The overall feeling seems to be that season 1 & 2 were great and that season 3 dropped off. What are your thoughts? Is it a show you'd rewatch?

I REALLY enjoyed Upload season 1. Im guessing i watched season 2 too. But while waiting for the third and finally watching the first episode...i could not sit through it. Concept was great and i found everything to be pretty unique before. It never took itself too seriously. I guess time just made me move far from enjoying the show.

I specifically dont have any bad memories either...i just can't watch it after forgetting about it.

Edit: Very glad i made this post. I completley forgot i need to get back into From and TWD and some other shows. Geez, wish me luck

Also wanted to add despite never having too much bad to say about the show, every time i see the main actor Robbie Amell i am reminded of this show and how i fell out with it. Im not sure. (I think I may have not liked how the character acted or his acting, i just can't remember at all, but when I see something with him in it i feel inclined not to watch...its very strange)

Genuinely gripping episode, not going to spoil anything, but curious what everyone else made of it.

In my opinion, I think that these tv shows and movies are under-appreciated or underrated:

Tv shows: Sonny With A Chance, Ant Farm, Liv and Maddie, Girl Meets World, Bunk’d, Best Friends Whenever, and Zoey 101

Movies: Meet The Robinsons, Shrek Forever After, Ralph Breaks The Internet, The Cheetah Girls 3, Camp Rock 2, Teen Beach 2, and the live-action Disney movies like Cinderella, Beauty and The Beast, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and The Jungle Book

i noticed some people actually disliking silo recently and i think thats a result of the degradation of attention spans people just want action action action all the time but silo's approach giving character development to so many different faces really makes you feel more immersed in the world and what these people are going through theres so much mystery and eagerness to see what happens next you never know what new question might arise or what question might be answered I can't name anything besides severance lately that has rivaled silo in terms of storyline acting characters setting and pretty more every aspect just absolutely nailed by the production cant wait for season 4 i wish we could just get it all right now

As a huge fan of Asimov's book series I'm doubtful they can turn this into a successful show. Should I try it? Any thoughts welcomed

I'm torn between this show and a historical one, so I'm curious what people think. Is it worth watching? What should I expect? What shouldn't I expect? Is the world building believable? Is the writing good, or is it one of those shows where you don't have to think too hard? Thank you 😊

This show written by Johnathan Nolan and JJ Abrams involves vigilante crime fighting characters in NYC with an AI surveillance system which informs them of people who are involved in plots of murder and/or kidnapping. Also Ramin Djawadi (the guy who wrote music for Game of Thrones) also wrote this show's soundtrack.

Without spoiling too much, it starts off with more of a "case of the week" format you'd expect from crime shows, but begins to become an extremely orwellian and sci fi spy thriller later on.

The first season I will admit is a little slower than the other ones, but it's still great and the seasons only get better as they continue. You might even start to notice how ahead of its time it was relative to the modern day.

I watched Rogue Heroes from the creator of Peaky Blinders, and I'm blown away by how underrated it is. It’s an incredible mix of dark humor and high-octane action. It's entertaining, based on history, and while they don't claim it's a completely true story, it tells the origin of the SAS in a super fun way. The soundtrack hits hard, the cast is stacked, and it literally sits at a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Because it's not on Netflix or HBO, it feels like no one talks about it or has even heard about it. Has anyone else watched it? What are your thoughts?
