The Crossover No One Asked For!

After two years I've completed the book of my Marvel vs. Twin Peaks comic series. No one asked for it, but once I started making these comics, a lot a lot of requests for more. Then people started pressing for the book, so here it is! It was very fun to create this strange brew. I managed to get an advance copy of Kyle’s memoir and this is a section in which he is working on Dune and getting to know Lynch’s methods. It’s so beautiful.

i'm not really sure how to put this, but - does anyone else who's seen the whole show find it deeply touching that a kind young girl, deeply addicted to cocaine, subject to essentialy the worst possible kinds of abuse on earth -

... is literally revealed to be a metaphysical force of good, imbued with the ability to fight, well, if not just an evil on the level of the introduction of the atom bomb, let's just say a 5D mesoamerican spirit demon (i'm afraid to type her name for some reason haha ^^*)

"fix yr hearts or die" is beautiful but to me the whole crux of the series radiates that same gentle/feverishly intent feminist message. a word like "empathy" is way too base to describe Lynch/Frost and the way they write women.

sorry if this is super obvious already to y'all, i just feel like some of the more existential themes can get buried in the chaos of the show.

I grew up watching it and saw this episode when it aired but I hadn’t discovered twin peaks yet so it went right over my head. So cool to revisit and see a crossover between two of my favorite shows

How much of the series was Leland in control of his own actions/body? I know in Season 2 before he dies, he's repentant and Coop says Laura forgives him. As I was watching FWWM, however, I noticed that it's very ambiguous when it's Leland or BOB. For example, the dinner table scene where Leland forces Laura to wash her hands but then later apologizes tearfully to her. You can see a change in his expression/face as if he's only realizing what he said/did. I know it's heavily implied that BOB abused Leland and then very clearly abused Laura through Leland, but it's really the only question I had when watching the entire series. Did BOB kill Laura, or did Leland? And how much of his actions was Leland aware of?

hi guys! today my copies of the OST and Julee Cruise "Floating into The Night" came with the mail and im so happy to finally have them in my hands!

So I pretty much got the whole TP universe last year, and started with the OG series and The Secret Diary Of Laura Palmer book. Due to some craziness in my life last year I wasn’t able to finish everything. But last month I decided to start everything back up again. So I now I have the OG series, the audiobook (Sheryl Lee’s narration is everything), FWWM, and today the first two episodes of the revival. I’m loving how everything has its own tone to the story. David Lynch really was iconic in his work. Sucks we’ll never get new TP with him being gone, but at least we can watch/rewatch what he gave us.

I had noticed that wandering on Letterboxd and I thought at the time there would be a reason for that in the return. Well I've just finished it and I didn’t notice anything particular. Is it just a mistake on Letterboxd’s part or is it something I've missed ?

I know how stupid this sounds but this is a geniune question I have. Did the characters get named after Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream or is it just a coincidence. I only clicked that their names are the same as the ice cream after my second watch as well 😭😭

In the grand tradition of Twin Peaks, we are releasing our second album precisely... 10 years after the first one (we would have waiting for 15 more, but it felt like a stretch).

The lyrics are all 100% about Twin Peaks, and the music was written in 2017, when season 3 was airing, and it inspired a ton of the instrumental aspect as well. Be wary though, this is progressive rock, with some hints of metal, doom, and many other flavors here and there.

Feel free to love it, hate it, it's out in the world now, it's no longer ours!
