What are the benefits for a man being a step-dad?
The extra devotion a GOOD women will give you, when she sees you treat her kids right. The connections to the children who will most likely see your effort, when they are grown, and realize you did that out of love. Watching them kids grow into good people because they had you there for them. Usually good snacks, good tv, good games, and a female that can put up with a lot of crap, again if she is a good one.

Yes because even though he did something very hurtful to me, I can still look back and try to understand how he felt and why he acted that way. Every action has a reaction. Unfortunately ours led to a really crappy place that I would do anything to come back from.
