I worry about elderly customers who get out of their habit coming every day not only because I lose a customer but I lose a face I see everyday and have had active conversations with. We get to know their go-to products or usual budget. You totally get to know people in general as well because they trauma dump at random times.

I tend to get family members in of these customers and find out their well being that way.

I also keep up with obituaries so if I get a chance to send flowers, or plant a few trees - I do in name of the store.

I am a budtender and am definitely aware that tons of companies inflate the thcs.cough space race cough However my statement still isn't untrue for a lot of companies on the market with thcs in the 22% - 28% range. The biggest tell of inflated weed is when their percentages don't change between the rotating strains.

Federally legalization opened up more education and science behind growing. Therefore more money can be put into making more potent and quality products.

I am a budtender in Alberta. They most likely won't give you a refund for opening weed unless there is a mold issue or something else like that. They also have to destroy all opened cannabis returned and it's a huge waste.

I'd contact the store and let them know they are selling old dry crispy weed. They might give you a discount or give ya a free doob.

Contacting the company is great too! Let them know that stores aren't selling their product and you were left with less than par weed because of it. They might help you out.
