I know NOTHING about the trial other than headlines, but theoretically if she had a mental issue that she hadn't seen a doctor about yet, isn't it possible she was suffering from it already?
Like if I go to the doctor and he says I have high blood pressure, I could still have had it before getting it diagnosed.
She went to several shrinks lied to them and fabricated symptoms based off Google searches to get a ton of different meds. She didnt even take the meds though. She planned it out step by step and even used search engines to supply her into. That is psycho yes, a break no.
Yeah that's what I wanted to say. I am not going to watch the trial as I frankly don't care enough but it's not like you only get the disease at the moment of diagnosis... usually you first have the disease and then get a diagnosis lol.
Unless the guy is suggesting that it's a bogus diagnosis, which I can see given she had already been to a number of doctors/psychs.
Well doctors make mistakes sometimes especially when it comes to mental issues, where you can't just run a lab test or do some imaging and have objective confirmation of disease. It not rare that they retroactively change diagnosis in these cases.
the diagnosis can come after the condition. Actually by definition, it has to. What do you think happens when someone has a heart attack? They go to the hospital and it gets diagnosed

She (apparently) had post partum psychosis, much different
