Considering most people in here are vehemently against her walking free, I highly suspect you’re an evil dumbass.

Do you think her walking out of the courtroom a free person is an option here?

Besides the fact she's not walking anywhere ever because she is paralyzed from the neck down, the jury can find her guilty (she goes to jail), not guilty by reason of insanity (she goes to a high security mental hospital), or mistrial (she remains in custody and the state will definitely re-try her).

She is claiming an affirmative defense, the jury literally cannot do anything to just release her.

Well she's paralyzed, so she's not walking anywhere. She's also not going to be free if she's confined to a mental institution for the rest of her life, since she's seen as a high risk for suicide.
