Question PHY2053

Is this class really that difficult? I heard that a lot of people have already gotten outside resources and tutoring and I’m worried I’m already far behind and it’s only the 3rd week. My first discussion quiz is tomorrow and I have no clue how to prepare or how to even come close to passing it. If anyone has any advice or resources online (free, I can’t afford anything else😭) please let me know!

(edit: I also have a terrible habit of being completely unable to focus in class so if anyone has anything i can use to learn everything myself that would also be great)

thank you in advance!!

No it’s pretty easy compared to physics with calc 1. But if u never took a physics class it’s a learning curve Fs. Not a difficult class at all mostly just use YouTube and ChatGPT to study

I remember being under the influence of my own hubris and took PHY2053 in Fall 2024 despite never having taken a physics class before. I had to withdraw from it during the semester and take it in Summer 2025 after taking PHY2020 in Spring 2025.
