Chem 2000

How’s Chen 2000 compares to 1000 my prof is Michael something but just curious what it was like for ppl who have taken it

the course is okay, not too bad. its relatively straightforward. definitely practice a lot and look over the practice questions they provide. it can definitely help build your knowledge 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

Thank you chem 1000 was decently easy I just got caught up with other exams and barely knew the last part

i would say focus on (molecular) orbital diagrams and functional groups!!

first third = molecular orbital theory --> s orbitals,p orbitals, pi electrons, bonding / non bonding electrons. (fancy way to describe covalent/ non covalent bonds) pictorally.
second third = thermodynamics and electrochemistry
final third - introductory organic chemistry

very doable course
