BIOSCI 202 How did you study for the test?

For anyone who has taken BIOSCI 202, how did you study for the test? What techniques worked best I am struggling so bad studying for this test

Hi im so confused on my role in this assingment for step 4 the individual part like im the marketing and communications manager but what exactly am I supposed to do I can do the writing component of it but the part a is soo confusing do I have to do 3 skecthes of my own and how do i show what I actually helped with the prototyping and packaging of the product they dont explain it to us and its super confusing for people who actually have 0 zero on what to do.

The following statistical analysis indicate that AUSA election candidates aggressively approached students this year:

1. The shocking variation in margin between the winning candidate and the runner-up candidate (ordered by increase in winning margin)-

Note: Postgraduate roles have been excluded in the analysis since the change in voting eligibility for those roles meant that relatively very few voted for those roles this year and so a comparison between margins would be misleading. We have also excluded any roles where only 2 candidates contested for a role in either of the two years since we are of the opinion that margins might significantly vary in contests where there are only two candidates for reasons such as if one candidate is very unpopular.

In the above table, for all roles mentioned other than president, the variation in winning margin is shocking (differing by more than a thousand votes in several cases). The analysis indicates that several winning candidates might have engaged in aggressively approaching students for votes.

2. Surprising increase in voter turnout-

The AUSA election this year was held over just 5 days (since technical issues delayed the election) while the AUSA election last year was held over 12 days. Yet there is a turnout increase of about 1,500 this year (6,055 this year vs. 4,547 last year). If the average votes per day is calculated, then only 379 voters voted per day last year while that number significantly increases to 1,211 votes per day this year. It is likely that this significant increase is linked to candidates aggressively approaching students for votes.

3. Much quieter election this year-

The AUSA election this year was much quieter on campus and elsewhere such as Reddit. The AUSA election debate held this year in the Quad had extremely low attendance. At many times, the total number of students present for the debate was probably less than 10 if associated parties such as debate facilitators, candidates, AUSA staff and AUSA executives were excluded. In contrast, the AUSA election debate held last year at the B201 (Arts) foyer had much higher attendance. During the AUSA presidential debate held last year, almost all the seats in the B201 foyer were apparently occupied. In contrast, there were many seats empty in Quad during this year’s debate despite the Quad having much fewer seats than the B201 foyer last year.

The fact that 1,500 more students voted during a much quieter election might indicate that AUSA election candidates aggressively approached students for votes.

TLDR: The following statistical analysis indicate that AUSA election candidates aggressively approached students: The voter turnout surprisingly increased by about 1,500 this year despite much shorter election period this year, there is a shocking variation in the winning margin (increase of more than 1,000 in several cases) when compared to last year’s winning margin, the AUSA election this year was much quieter on campus and elsewhere yet it saw an increase in turnout by 1,500 approximately.

I'm doing a BSc in Zoology and I've planned out my degree so that I'll already have the required 360 points and all of my major/Stage II/III requirements completed.

I'm thinking about taking SPANISH 104G in Summer School just because I want to learn Spanish. This would mean I'd graduate having completed 375 points rather than 360.

Does the extra paper actually do anything academically?

From what I can find, UoA says cumulative GPA is calculated from all grades achieved, so if I got an A/A+ in Spanish, would it increase the cumulative GPA on my transcript even though it's technically surplus to my degree?

Also, when UoA assigns the 360 points to the BSc at graduation, do they take the “best” eligible 360 points, meaning Spanish could potentially replace a lower-grade elective? Or does the original 360 stay assigned and Spanish just become an orphaned/surplus paper?

Has anyone here actually graduated from a BSc with 375+ points and know what happened to the extra course/GPA?

I've seen a number of posts and comments raising concerns about how the AUSA election has been conducted, including concerns about the enforcement of election rules and responses to complaints.

Under Rule 30 of the AUSA Constitution, Members can request action regarding election results if they obtain 100 of Member signatures. This is the only way to raise issues now as the rules have been changed to only allow complaints in other ways during the voting period.

All my high school friends are leaving and I’m a bit worried if I’m staying at home how easy it’s gonna be to find friends. A lot of people label UOA as a “commuter uni” and I am worried with this rep it’ll be hard for me to make lasting friendships compared to if I went to halls at a smaller uni. I can see that for finance students, UoA recommends double majoring with accounting due to the overlap, but I am kind of worried that finance grad roles may be at risk of AI??

Regardless, Finance, Information Systems or Business Analytics are options that I am looking towards, and I am open to take any advice, opinions and what y'all's are doing.

Im currently a year 12 international student(korean) attending epsom grammar. I am taking ncea subjects, including: calculus, english, chemistry, accounting and business.

I have recently moved schools (attending epsom from the start of term 3). I am currently wanting to move from year 12 to the foundational studies course next year however, I’m struggling to find what the exact requirements are for applying and getting approved of it. Things I question are…

1. It has the foundation standard, fast-track, and accelerated program. underneath the requirements, it says something like this many credits achieved from level 2 or 3 and 6-10 credits from each subject. I need clarification in whether this is 6-10 credits per subject (like every one of them) or if its just courses that are going to be connected to the particular foundations course I am willing to take. This i because, after I have moved schools, I had to choose different courses which I had taken previously, hence, I am uncertain whether I will be able to match 6-10 credits for all of my subjects…

2. There is another requirement section with the foundation connect or pathways link program. What is the difference between the standard foundation and this? This also has a requirement entry with a total number of credits plus 3 subjects (including maths) achieving 10 credits each. What is the major difference?

3. If I have moved schools, if I had previously achieved e.g. 3 credits in maths in the internals, if I have moved schools halfway through and achieve 8 more credits in my current school, does the course grade just link on underneath my nsn login portal?

Honestly, any help and advice would help me so much. As an international student, its still very hard to work my way through things and due to the language barrier, ncea subjects being taught in english is quite difficult.
