Bed weight limit
I asked the housing dept what the weight limits on the beds are, and they didn’t know but they estimated about 250 pounds. I weight 260ish, should i just get a normal bed or is it fine to tough it out?

Are you asking if you should bring your own bed into the dorms?

I was about 250-280 when I lived in the tower and I was just fine in my loft bed. Mind you, this was 2011-2012, but the beds couldn't have gotten worse in that time, one would hope lol

I was around 280+ when I was in Wallace but I just slept in the bottom bunk. No issues! My friends and I would watch movies 5+ at a time cuddled up!

I got my bed moved down to a normal level, it actually worked out cuz we have more storage now. Thanks for the response tho!

The frames should be considerably more than 250 pounds - very likely more than twice that amount. There are instances of three or four people being on a bed chilling out and the bed frames do not fail under that weight. Who the heck gave you the 250 estimate?
