This is very relevant to my experience. I’ve worked with Kotlin/Java Android applications, Python backends and REST APIs, including applications that interact with physical hardware.
Relevant work includes logistics shipment-scanning systems, retail/POS billing applications using physical barcode scanners, gym and fitness apps, health platforms, and other hardware-integrated workflows.
The combination of the Android SDK integration, palm enrollment/recognition, Python backend and user dashboard is particularly interesting to me. I'd be happy to discuss the existing hardware/demo and what you need built first.
