Suspended

Hello, I was suspended this year the 2026 semester and was sent an email for LEAP, I got an A in leap but a D in another additional course. So I thought honestly I was in the clear but was unable to register and I talked to the registrar and they had told me you should be good to register tomorrow as they havent updated the standings. However an hour later im recieiving an email saying ive been suspended for one semester. Im not sure why is it because of the D? Who should I talk to.

i think the student advisor or maybe you go to the registrar again if the email is from them

you might be able to reply to the email but im not sure about that

When you're suspended you take two semesters off or do leap and can return after that semester/course. But when you return you must maintain a 2.0 ("C") average to stay in school. You stay on probation until your cumulative GPA returns to 2.0. I guess the D is the reason. I'm surprised they only suspended you for one more semester vs removing you entirely. At this point suggest you speak to registrar's office and/or appeal suspension. The D is probably the reason though.
