Made a video essay about Assassin's Creed 3 (My favourite in the series), enjoy

In 1870, a flat-earther named John Hampden entered into a wager with Alfred Russel Wallace, a scientist famous for discovering natural selection independently from Charles Darwin. Hampden bet Wallace that he couldn't sufficiently prove that the Earth was round. The experiment that resulted is now known as the Bedford Canal Experiment. After the test went in Wallace's favor, Hampden stalked and harassed Wallace for twenty years, all while trying to ruin his reputation and career.

In this video, I explore the initial experiment and the years of legal disputes afterwards. Let me know what you think, and if you agree with Wallace that it was an ethical lapse to participate in the wager in the first place.

Hello! I made a video on A Plague Tale: Innocence and A Plague Tale: Requiem, It's in french with english subtitles.

A review of the indie cozy game Rainy Season. The video is mostly focused on my own relationship to nostalgia and how the pure innocence presented in Rainy Season helped me come to terms with letting go of the past since I have a rough relationship with my childhood and find that even the happy memories make me sad. Also features rambling on the meaning of different words and phrases that relate to this. Did you know Nostalgia literally means "Homecoming is Pain"?

I had a bit of an interesting thought on the impact of superheroes in the modern day, and how it's a bit similar to the impact religion had a few hundred years ago. This is my first video essay, so i'm open to feedback, and I'm curious what you guys think :)

Just dropped a video essay mapping out character pairings across the Coen brothers' filmography—pairing up figures like Anton Chigurh and Everett McGill as two sides of the same coin, and Jerry Lundegaard with Walter Sobchak as hyperfixated control freaks. I dive into how their movies run on a brutal binary of chance versus fate and how different characters handle an indifferent universe.

Since I'm still refining my pacing and structure, I'd love some constructive feedback on the video's arguments and editing flow if anyone has a few minutes to check it out.

Right now, high-end raiding in XIV feels a lot like playing Simon Says. You map out your entire rotation before you even step into the arena and repeat the exact same sequence of hits every single pull. If a boss drops an attack on your feet in the middle of a string, your only real choices are to risk getting clipped or step back and toss weak hits.

What if Evolved changes that?

With what's been shown DRG at least has sparked some interest with a potential move that could evade mechanics. I didn't see anything that resembles it in the other jobs shown so far, but the system is not out yet! Anything can happen.

We might finally get a game where you have to think on your feet. Instead of just running through a script you memorized from a guide, you would be making quick choices on the fly! Managing your evasive/tanking moves based on the situation and picking the right move for whatever is happening around you.

The real test is going to be the fights themselves. If an encounter is completely predictable and the boss just sits in the center of the room, players will figure out the single best route in a couple of days and turn it right back into a solved math problem. But if fights actually force random movement and messy situations that make you adjust your plan live, being great at your job will mean knowing how to handle chaos rather than just repeating a rehearsed sequence.

Personally this possibility excites me a lot.
