“Hey, you. You’re finally awake.”

264

u/Jackdawfool67 Jul 22 '26

"Ah yes I was expecting you."

146

u/ChErRyPOPPINSaf Jul 22 '26

" you have committed crimes against skyrim and her people "

63

u/Logical_Comparison28 Jul 22 '26

”What say in your defense?”

”I’d rather die than go to prison!”

32

u/TommyOnRedditt Jul 22 '26

SHUTT HUPPP BACK THEERE

22

u/Turtles_N_Nurples Jul 22 '26

I use to post on reddit till I took an arrow to the knee

2

u/Random_Millennial28 Jul 22 '26

Take my up arrow, you Imperial scum!

3

u/Vast-Sir-1949 Jul 22 '26

You don't get up to the cloud district much do you

3

u/Professional_Ad9848 Jul 22 '26

"Aww, did someone steal your sweetroll?"

Nice Mandela effect, as "took an arrow to the knee" never appears in Skyrim.

3

u/Turtles_N_Nurples Jul 23 '26

The guards said it, what are you talking about

-1

u/InigoMontoya1985 Jul 24 '26

Not one guard ever says, "I took an arrow to the knee." Just like Darth Vader never says, "Luke, I am your father." Look up Mandela Effect, or Google the following: does the phrase "I took an arrow 'to' the knee" ever appear in Skyrim?

1

u/Logical_Comparison28 Jul 23 '26

0

u/InigoMontoya1985 Jul 24 '26

Watch it again. Did you notice, not once in that clip did anyone say, "I took an arrow to the knee"? Perfect Mandela effect. You didn't even catch it when you posted the clip. It's just like "Luke, I am your father", which never appears in Star Wars.

2

u/Logical_Comparison28 Jul 24 '26

They literally say ”I used to be an adventurer like you. Then I took an arrow in the knee.” Either you are successfully pretending to be an idiot or have shit in your ears making you deaf and are blind as a bat. I think you actually are an idiot.

Love how posting facts on Reddit gets you downvoted.

2

u/Rough-Ad-3614 Jul 23 '26

What’s wrong with him

14

u/Accomplished-Lie2631 Jul 22 '26

Currently in a replay. A couple hundred hours into a replay. 😂

Still creating their character or still tweaking their 500 installed mods to get things juuuust right.

5

u/jonny_mal Jul 22 '26

“Outlanderrrrrr…”

Oh wait..

2

u/goldchuchujell1 Jul 22 '26

“You’ll have to be recorded before you’re officially released. There are a few ways we can do this and the choice is yours”

2

u/DizavidHZ Jul 22 '26

random bee overturns and slings cart from Skyrim clear into Oblivion

1

u/just_some_octopus Jul 22 '26

"You will have to be recorded before you are officially released"

1

u/Fancy_mantis_4371 Jul 22 '26

Youll have to be recorded before youre officially released.

1

u/sothaseloftelvanni Jul 22 '26

limeware platter stealth archer

1

u/Gantelbart Jul 22 '26

"Well, not even last night's storm could wake you."

1

u/Headshot314 Jul 22 '26

"You'll have to be recorded before you're officially released. There are a few ways we can do this, and the choice is yours." Real morrowind fans play premade classes because min-maxing is pointless you will become a god no matter what your build is so picking a class is more thematic.

1

u/thecraftybear Jul 23 '26

"You are the one from my dreams! Then today is the day..."

Everyone's true FAFO moment.

2

u/MIZUNOWAVECREATION Jul 23 '26

FAFO?

2

u/Bob_Meh_HDR Jul 23 '26

Fuck around, find out.

1

u/MIZUNOWAVECREATION Jul 23 '26

Oh got it, thx!!! I should have known that

1

u/FerronTaurus Jul 23 '26

Tried this one with shield raised above me. The result was still the same...

7

u/wetworkwolfx Jul 22 '26

The SGSP. Skyrim Giant Space Program.

1

u/InstructionLeading64 Jul 22 '26

The space program. Skyrim has put more people in space than NASA.

1

u/Still-Potato-3189 Jul 24 '26

is there a more O.O moment than getting launched into orbit by a giant in skyrim?

"I was once an adventurer like you. Then I took an arrow in the knee."

18

u/10TheDudeAbides11 Jul 22 '26

"Do you get to the Cloud District very often? Oh, what am I saying, of course you don't."

FOOS-RO-DAH

8

u/Mysterious_Bug_1903 Jul 22 '26

Yup you've persuaded me, I'm booting it up again. Nazeem hasn't died in few years.

1

u/Calc4242 Jul 24 '26

Yep, reading that quote on Reddit is the final straw

2

u/Calc4242 Jul 23 '26

That bastard says nothing damn else. For years he roans the same street saying the same line to the same person lol. Perhaps next time I play, I will remove that bastard.

2

u/Any-Management-4562 Jul 23 '26

I always soul trap Nazeem. I don’t even use his soul gem I just put it somewhere in a corner to collect dust in my house in Whiterun

1

u/Calc4242 Jul 24 '26

Lol, I'm going to. Better than listening to his mouth every time I enter the city

1

u/Calc4242 Jul 24 '26

You would think for a guy who roams near the gate of Whiterun they would have given him a little more depth

8

u/Vaportrail Jul 22 '26

I only played for like a month and this hits.

8

u/Medium-Play2572 Jul 22 '26

Just replayed with the dagoth ur follower mod it was awesome

7

u/sexi_squidward Jul 22 '26

I'm literally on another playthrough as we speak type

8

u/Dogcomicsinc Jul 22 '26

"You were trying to cross the border, right? Walked right into that Imperial ambush, same as us, and that thief over there."

1

u/Billysbilbolag Jul 22 '26

"Damn you Stormcloaks! Skyrim was fine untill you came along. Empire was nice and lazy..."

7

u/El-gato-taco Jul 22 '26

I knew I'd find her right at the top

2

u/brandothesavage Jul 22 '26

God damn it naravar why did I read that in dagaths voice!!??

2

u/Only-Yogurtcloset370 Jul 22 '26

I deleted allowed my save files the other day and currently doing a playthrough right now lol

2

u/willfarnaby24 Jul 22 '26

Just started one three days ago

2

u/_K10_ Jul 22 '26

Currently replaying Skyrim for the ??? time and realizing how much content I missed the other times.

2

u/amirlpro Jul 22 '26

I haven’t played it but I guess. Is that Skyrim?

4

u/just_some_octopus Jul 22 '26

All time goat for me. Ngl.

Morrowind has such a deep core memory for me when it first released

2

u/ModernCGIFloatinHead Jul 22 '26

I'm not gonna go stealth archer this time!

🤡

1

u/Matticus0989 Jul 22 '26

How did I know this would be neat the top lol

1

u/SkinCarVer462 Jul 22 '26

Yup thats the one i was going to say as well

1

u/Metsanvaari Jul 22 '26

Yeah, either that or, "The fallen leaves tell a story". Played them so much.

1

u/HowlingBurd19 Jul 22 '26

“Hey, you. You’re finally woke.”

1

u/sothaseloftelvanni Jul 22 '26

"Not even last night's storm could wake you. They say we've reached Morrowind"

-yes I insist on finishing the Skyrim intro with the Morrrowind one. Morrowind was the OG of this meme, come on! I will not hear Skyrim get credit for this meme template when it should be Morrowind😭😭😭😭😭😭🫡

1

u/OnionTamer Jul 22 '26

I load the Prisoner autosave after you get out of the cart before you select race/gender/name. That way I don't have to watch the full cart ride every time. because I restart this game over and over.

1

u/NatseePunksFeckOff Jul 22 '26

i'd replay it more often if Skyrim modders didn't treat modding as a portfolio for a job at Bethesda or modpacks didn't force you to pay NexusMods for a subscription not to spend a literal eternity to install the mods inside. I wish more mod communities were like Minecraft's

1

u/MyBatmanUnderoos Jul 22 '26

“You. I’ve seen you…”

1

u/86composure Jul 22 '26

Fuck. Forgot this one. Yes. And yes.

1

u/Sad_Pin1643 Jul 22 '26

I really thought this was Navi talking to Link in Oot

1

u/Ahenobarbus753 Jul 22 '26

It's like a really long Outer Wilds loop except I do it to myself.

1

u/JustanIdiot86 Jul 22 '26

By replay you mean just starting again without actually finishing this game right? … Right!!!

1

u/_Tocatl_ Jul 22 '26

Never finished it. Just keep starting over lol

1

u/Srgtpumpernickel Jul 22 '26

Have never played Skyrim with mods……
Might do another play through….. I mean…. Why not

1

u/-The_Legacy- Jul 22 '26

Time for playthrough #20992716472

1

u/nryporter25 Jul 23 '26

Sora, you lazy bum, I knew id find you snoozing down here!

It's that or your guy is about to cut off my head. Im honestly not 100% sure lol. But mine is the first one for sure.

1

u/MIZUNOWAVECREATION Jul 23 '26

You walked right into that Imperial ambush, same as us

1

u/West_Stage_6785 Jul 23 '26

Man I don’t even know how many times I’ve finished main story and started over focusing on another storylines before main and etc. Truly GOAT of games

1

u/WorthPresentation270 Jul 23 '26

I just platinum’ed it for the 3rd time… Just have the VR version to go but I’m terrified of barfing on Jarl Balgruuf! 😂

1

u/ThreeBeatles Jul 23 '26

Going to get lots of crap for this but I haven’t played it once. I tried and had a soft lock glitch at the very beginning. Wouldn’t let me interact with a character I needed to talk to to move the story. The bugs are not charming any more. This was after probably 4 rereleases too.

1

u/CnP8 Jul 23 '26

No one completes Skyrim. They just create new characters

1

u/Jotakakun_to Jul 23 '26

I also love Ocarina of time.

1

u/Exciting_Boss2425 Jul 23 '26

Can you please explain why dipshits like you can't mention the effin name? Only a loser like you would understand every game from some archaic reference

1

u/Aemaeth93 Jul 23 '26

ANOTHER HAND HAS TOUCHED THE BEACON

1

u/Supracano Jul 23 '26

I reached the end of my journey through Skyrim years ago but lines like this one are forever.

1

u/GrimEagle123 Jul 23 '26

"Got caught trying to to cross the border right same as that theif over there"

1

u/Atakir Jul 23 '26

I literally just started a Skyrim playthrough as it's been a solid decade since I played it last.

1

u/Salty_Amigo Jul 23 '26

I thought of it and was not disappointed to see it as the top comment.

1

u/Cosmo1222 Jul 23 '26

Feels like coming home.

1

u/GloveFrosty5475 Jul 23 '26

This quote's the only way to answer the question.

1

u/thedroob Jul 24 '26

Started a new game yesterday LMAO

1

u/Defaulted1364 Jul 24 '26

I must have around 1500-2000 hours in that game since it came out. I have never once finished the story, I get sidetracked with side quests, stop playing for a while and then create a new character.

1

u/illopalillo Jul 24 '26

Por un momento me hice ilusiones y pensé en Morrowind

1

u/Elrond_Cupboard_ Jul 24 '26

Does it count as a replay if i didn't finish it the first 2 times?

1

u/tommmmmmmmy93 Jul 24 '26

Also STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM.

Oblivion is my favourite

1

u/tasteofmace Jul 24 '26

I spent over a year real time obtaining every single Skyrim achievement on xbox so my girlfriend could install mods (she didn't want to have mods until she had all achievements so mods wouldn't mess that up for her) and I finally did it like 5 years ago. She hasn't booted skyrim up since. Never installed any mods 😭

1

u/gaysunited123 Jul 25 '26

"You were trying to cross the border, right? Ran right into that Imperial ambush, same as us and that thief over there."

1

u/Azul_Reddit Jul 25 '26

It feels so exciting those moments at the beginning. Like "nobody is going to see me in real life in weeks".

1

u/Used-Hornet-2325 Jul 25 '26

a new hand touches the becon

1

u/Accomplished_Cup2401 Jul 25 '26

"I was and adventure like you. Until I took an arrow to the knee."

1

u/Intrepid-Trust2073 Jul 26 '26

“I’m not going to be a stealth archer again…. I’m not going to be a stealth archer again…. I’m not going to be a stealth archer again….”

1

u/ChaosOfficerOnyx Jul 26 '26

"Hey, it's nice to have you around."

1

u/Sea_Appointment8408 Jul 22 '26

It really hasn't aged well though.

I appreciate this is not a popular Reddit opinion.

1

u/FormalMaintenance512 Jul 23 '26

Parts of it have aged extremely well, and other parts extremely poorly.

0

u/Canalpenetrator Jul 22 '26

This and forever

0

u/CacheConqueror Jul 22 '26

A game that should be rated 4/10 has a high score simply because the community developed it for free, whilst the developers were busy making yet another poor game based on the same development model – as long as it supported mods. The very fact that there’s a mod to fix the bugs speaks volumes about this game.

Now I’m waiting for the downvotes, because fans don’t like the truth

1

u/mjc500 Jul 22 '26

It’s not even that good with heavy modding. Nothing can fix the boring ass dialogue and plot.
