their games don't really get that low on PC either.

You mean price? That doesn't matter to me much, but I'm not going to buy a console to play its exclusives. If I want a game I dont mind paying full price. They can keep their game discounts. Better for customers to make them available. But they dont care about the customers, obviously

consoles and exclusive games go hand in hand. doesn't really make sense to have one without the other.

Sony must not have agreed with you when they started releasing games on PC. I get what youre saying, but its anti consumer and i wont support it. I dont really care what their justification is. I was just saying it sucks, which it objectively does.

I think it’s especially scummy that they decided to release on PC but then pulled back the decision. I played the GOW games and I loved them, spiderman too. Now I gotta buy a ps5/6 to play the rest of the franchise? Fuck off sony. It’d be one thing if they never did it in the first place.

I mean... they did change course due to the fact they saw a bunch of feedback saying people were more willing to transition to PC if their games were there.

Sony sold PC games for a couple years out of their 30-year PlayStation existence. it is not anti-consumer to make software exclusive to the hardware you also make.

gamers just want to have their cake and eat it too. it's normal for hardware manufacturers to give customers a reason to buy their hardware. that is literally the whole business model.

"That's just the way it's always been." is a terrible justification for anything.

not exactly what I am saying. that is how it works. in a world with no exclusives, we wouldn't really have consoles at all. they don't financially make sense without them.

the way things are going, they might not make financial sense with them. that would be bad for most people trying to play video games, imo.

PC gamers not understanding exclusives is really interesting lol

I mean some of the greatest games of all time have been exclusives

They do get that low though. God of War 2018 has an all-time low of 15 dollars on pc and Ragnarok has it at 30. Horizon Forbidden West, 25.

I checked out most of Sony games I can think of on PC and they pretty much all reached under 40 dollar at some point.
