Hi everyone,
I am trying to track down a specific vintage magazine article for my Grandpa, He's been looking for it forever and can't seem to find it. Hoping he's got all the details he remembers right, its from Fall 1978 (likely the September, October, or November issue of Car Craft, Popular Hot Rodding, Hot Rod, Street Machine or a similar custom publication).
The article features a highly distinct, driven 1968 or 1969 AMC AMX two-seater that the owner took state-to-state to enter into various car shows.
Here are the specific details of the car and the article to help jog your memories:
Does anyone happen to know the exact magazine title or who owned this car so i can find pictures of it. I would love to find this for him!
Thanks in advance for any help or leads!

The 1969 Mercury Marauder X-100 is a "banker's muscle car" featuring the front clip of a Mercury Marquis paired with a unique fastback roofline and rear fender skirts. Power came from a thumpin' 429 cid "Thunderbird" V8 producing 360 bhp. Only 5,635 were built for the 1969 model year. Yes, it hauls.

Good afternoon peeps. I’m in need of some help here. My daughter has purchased my grandpa’s dart and when she was driving it to the grocery store it caught fire. The wire harness going to the distributor, fuel pump and alternator is toast and need help finding one. Not sure if it’s the same for v8 and v6. Also the small wire harness going to the trans is gone. I purchased the electric ignition kit off eBay is good quality compared to what and how the car was running before. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've never heard of that make until it was uploaded here. The owner even wrote a book about restoration!
