Can't remove linux kernel 6.18

I tried to remove 6.18 with xbps-remove but I only get a dependency error back:

linux6.18-6.18.45_1 in transaction breaks installed pkg `linux-6.18_1'
ERROR: Transaction aborted due to unresolved dependencies.

Removing 6.18_1 via xbps however gives me another dependency error that says 6.18_1 is not installed.

I also tried xbps-pkgdb -a and it gave me the following output:

ERROR: sddm: hash mismatch for /usr/share/sddm/scripts/Xsetup.
ERROR: sddm: files check FAILED.

I also used vkpurge rm and the 6.18 kernel is not showing anymore after using vkpurge list but according to xbps it's still installed....

I already use 7.2 and before that used 7.1. For me 7.1 was stable enoug hto remove 6.18.

Did you add linux and linux-headers to ignorepkg?

Vkpurge only removes the kernel files from the system, the package itself is unaffected.

6.18 is the default kernel and therefore may be a dependency for other things.

Yes I figured it out hahaha. Added it to ignorepkg and now I was able to uninstall.
I makred it as manual but also added it to an ignore file in xbps.d. Not sure if this is necessary or not
