My grandfather (85M) unfortunately has not been doing so well recently and my mother wanted to hire a helper. He's a big guy and my grandmother isn't able to help him walk so much.

Does anyone know of a service or caregiver in Warsaw that can help? I looked a little online and used AI but didn't find anything that seemed like a fit.

Just moved from the US and would like a place to shoot around or get pickup runs while I work on my Polish. Willing to pay for indoor as well but it seems that is primarily for leagues and schools.

I've searched ceneo, olx and allegro and there are none for sale. I could buy one outta the UK but it would cost over 80zl with shipping- and I don't need it THAT bad.

I know there are already a few posts about this, but maybe someone has more up-to-date information. Maybe the club has improved, or there are newer reviews about it.

Also, if you have any recommendations for other strip clubs or gentlemen’s clubs in Warsaw, that would be helpful. We’ve never been to one before, but we’d like to visit one just to check it out.

I applied for a temporary residence permit (TRC) in Warsaw/Mazowieckie in November 2025 (as a working student)

My expected decision date was 09 February 2026 but I still have no decision and very little information about the progress of the case. I have already filed 2 speed up letters and inPOL has not shown any meaningful update for months.

I know there have been reports about the huge backlog at the Mazowiecki Urząd Wojewódzki and the recent protest in Warsaw over residence-permit delays.

I’m curious about other people’s experiences:

• When did you apply?
• Which voivodeship?
• Have you received a decision yet?
• If you are in Warsaw, how long did it take before an inspector was assigned?
• Did filing a ponaglenie or WSA complaint actually make your case move?
• Are people who applied in late 2025 already receiving decisions?
• What would you recommend in such a case?

Planning on visiting Poland,Warsaw with 4 friends at last week of October. We are all musicians in our 30's and I would like to get some tips for activities and places to visit.

Especially interested in live music scene. Are there any open stage pubs or other venues with concerts at that time, the heavier the better, but everything goes. Some sort of brewery or distillery tour would also be cool.

Recommendations for bars (karaoke is fun),rock themed bars even better, restaurants and pretty much anything are welcome.

Hey everyone! So I moved to warsaw earlier this year and it's high time I start meeting more people and have a social circle. I'm looking for recommendations and seeing what worked for people. I've seen some Facebook groups but they seem mostly spam. Also some organized events in bars but im wondering about people's experiences. What has worked for you?

As for information on myself. I'm 34, I'm a nerdy guy with all sorts of interests from gaming to movies and enjoy a good bar with a nice beer. Love camping and getting out of the city a bit. Rock music, some jazzy stuff and metal. I can play some board games from time to time. DnD and that sort are fun but that's harder to find a good group though it would be awesome to.

Hello everyone,
I’m supposed to start my new job on September 1st, and I need to complete a medical check through LUX MED before then.
When I was assigned my referral/number, I was abroad(outside of eu), and the LUX MED online appointment system kept giving me an error. Since it seemed that the appointment had to be booked by phone, I came back to Poland as early as I could and called LUX MED.
Unfortunately, they told me that there are currently no available appointments. They said they would mark my case as urgent and contact me if any slots become available due to cancellations.
I’ve also spoken to my employer, and they contacted LUX MED from their side as well. I told my employer that, if necessary, I’m willing to travel outside Warsaw to another city just to get the medical check done.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks for finding a last-minute LUX MED occupational medicine appointment? İ
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: And maybe a stupid little question, but what happens if I can’t get an appointment in time? Is it possible that my employer would accept the medical check being done a day late, or would they simply have to postpone my start date until I complete it?

Edit 2: I’ve found appointment on Katowice, will be traveling there…
