[OC] Ultimate Magic trick - The Little Trashmaid
There are only 12 hours left until the end of the crowdfunding campaign on Backerkit to finance the animated pilot episode of "The Little Trashmaid"!
And...
We did it!
We reached the minimum goal to fund the pilot!
The crowdfunding is practically over, and we're collecting the last donations from those who want to buy the paperback volumes of The Little Trashmaid.
I'd like to thank the comics and webcomics communities from the bottom of my heart.
You can't even imagine how much love we've received from you and how much the success of this campaign depends on your help and support.
I hope I haven't bothered you too much with my daily postings of The Little Trashmaid, but I (Davide from Silly Studios) and Steff (s0s2) have loved every comment, help, and advice you've given us.
Starting tomorrow, we'll slow down the postings of The Little Trashmaid.
We've been publishing the comic every day for about 60 days straight, and maybe it's time to give it a rest.
It won't disappear, and I think it'll be published weekly.
Why do this?
Because we also have other comics we'd like to share with the community that we've put on hold due to the crowdfunding campaign.
Comics like Simply Silly, Elemental Mix, My Silly Gods, Hetzer & Friends, The Stardust Twins, My Cute Dictator, A Silly Family, and much more.
And, by the way, we also need to start working on the campaign for a new comic project called "Gold Thread" (also on BackerKit).
Now we can get some rest and sleep more peacefully (you can't imagine the sleepless nights we've had over the last month).

It’s definitely both! The marks on either side of his neck are gills, the pattern on the very front of his neck is from the hose clamp.

I'm very proud of you, I think your work of publishing and reacting to our posts really helped regarding visibility.
It's a really great comic and I can't wait to see the animated version. s0s2 must be very happy. I also hope your combined work will help improve the visibility about the oceans pollution issue.

I discovered The Little Trashmaid via reddit by the way, if not on reddit, I would not have known it (sadly). I wasn't able to donate a lot but I'm very happy that the whole team reached the goal. Can't wait to see what's next!

This is bringing tears to my eyes, he can finally breathe and take big bites and eat all types of foods.. look at how happy he is (also, I am so glad you reach your goal <3) 🥹

No, he lives. The comic was originally posted in 2021 and he remains a consistent character along with all the other mermaids

I have a question about the character! So, does the boy trashmaid (Trashman? Like mermaid and merman?) have spiky teeth or not? In the previous comic he smiled and showed spiked teeth, but his smile in this comic hints at regular teeth!
