Ah yes, its always great to pretend you don't know your friends. It really lets them know how much you care! As a friend! That ignores their friends!

Reminder--this is written by a man

I'm a woman and I find this humerous. I think assuming that men can't at all write women is a little sexist, don't you?

It is sexist to think its "just a 'little' sexist" to assume that men can't write at all 🙃

Not to be that guy, im not even a guy on the first place, but that was something called a figure of speech. I was being sarcastic by saying that it was only 'a little' sexist, exemplified by the rhetorical question asked directly afterwards.

Plus i never said men can't write at all, i use some odd sentence structures sometimes, and what i said was 'assuming that men can't at all write women', which means 'assuming that men can't write women at all'.

Had added that extra emoji to make it clear it was just a wordplay! Not that it matters, had not actually assumex that you indeed are sexist.

It wasn't to offend you.

Ah my apologies, you seemed quite direct with your statement, and I've known people who hold those kinds of opinions unironically (e.g. assuming anything said sarcastically was literal unless explicitly said, even common figures of speech)

It's sexist to sexism when sexing your sexts to sexists

Where did I say that? It’s just a reminder in case people care.

It was directly implied, if you didn't imply this, that statement holds virtually no value. Not directly saying something is not a defence to strong implications, especially outside of a court.

How am I directly implying that men categorically cannot write women? Sounds like you’re projecting. It changes my opinion of this highly-sexualized, serial comic when I know it’s written by a straight man. Doesn’t seem controversial at all to me

You're welcome to your opinions, but evidently the majority does not hold them.

If nothing changed but the gender of the author my opinion on this comic would not change, it would still be highly sexualised, but apparently that's alright when it comes from a woman in your mind.

Never said it wasn't alright or was alright. Again--you're projecting.

I am just more interested in a comic about women, written by women. That doesn't seem like a crazy take to me. A man is going to have a less honest and earnest perspective.

It's a horny comic, how earnest do you want it to be?
