Newbie Question Looking to build a website!

I started a tree service business and I want to create a website. I’m looking for some beginner friendly just to get going. I looking for a simple 1 page with maybe 2-3 clicks. I want to create a simple and clean brochure style website. As long as a website is up and running it will make my business look legit. Thank you!

Suggestions:

  1. get a cheap domain name from Porkbun if you don't already have one.
  2. Use Gemini to build your one pager. It's free and powerful enough.
  3. Host on Cloudflare Pages. Free service. Gemini will walk you through setup.

This. It’s like $10 per year or less for most domains and you can just get AI to build it and host it for free. AI will guide you through it.

A single page should be simple enough for you. If you are needing any assistance please reach out.

Here's a short list of things to think about when you are doing it and AI can definatnly help you with setting some of this up and hosting providers can give you access to things such as email, SSL..etc

Here is a good tutorial to learn to make your own website

https://make.yourownwebsite.org/

If you want resources to learn HTML this might help

https://codingsuperpowers.com/html.html

And if you want to understand a particular tag or similar use MDN Learn.

You might give Wix (or some other page builder service) a shot if you just want to click some buttons. As others have said, you absolutely could use AI to do/figure this out. But then there are multiple services involved (buy the domain somewhere, use an AI to build a page, figure out how to preview the page, a service to host the page, how to upload stuff to it).

Do you have the domain already?

A simple 1 page (landing page) could be seeing as something easy but the best way to attract clients its have a good design and good SEO.

You can do it yourself with a couple of week of training. Custom code or builders can have the same results if you do it right hehe

for something like this, I'd go for platform like Pixpa or Webflow. you could create a clean one page site pretty quickly without knowing much about web design just include your services, a few work, service area.
