After ALL THIS TIME doing field work, it was finally weevil time today!! This is in Michigan, i think hes a nut weevil of sorts :)

was sitting outside and saw a bug on my pants out of the corner of my eye. glanced up and somehow…I just KNEW…it was a weevil. AND IT WAS.

I put my finger in front of him and he just climbed right on. He hung out on my fingertip for so long just vibing 🥹🥹

Found in Western PA! He let me take so many pictures! I've only ever seen a broadnosed weevil in person before, so I am beyond thrilled. Any weevil fans know who this guy is?
