Serious answers only please! What is this for??
Found on the side of the road. Has a tray that sits on two metal rods on either side, tray can be removed and leaves some “hidden” storage space under it. Under that is a drawer and then some storage. What is this used for? Looks very old, it’s solid wood.

My gran had a similar product (from the 70s) that she used for her knitting stuff.
Current projects on top. The big space under for balls of wool.
Various patterns, needles etc in the drawers.
I'm not certain that is the intended use but it worked for her

What’s the material that makes the bottom of the drawer? If it’s a wire mesh, then the whole thing might be a root veggie storage box with additional storage compartments.
