Ok, so when I was a young kid, not a toddler, but maybe 7ish, I remember watching a horror movie or show on DVD. I remember the play menu had a closet with a skeleton in it, or black smoke coming out. The only things I remember about the movie are that there is a scene where someone is doing something with a latter-- the one's you would find on the side of an apartment building-- and some evil force makes the latter fall down, and he breaks his spine, and the latter leg goes through his eye.

The other thing I remember is a kid in a field by the house, like, a large field, and the house was big and white, in the country almost. Anyway, there was a swing set he swung on, and there may have been a bike.

This has been bugging me for years, and I just remembered there are other people on the internet.

I was told about this movie YEARS ago, the only things i remember being that it was about this company or government who was obsessed with learning about the afterlife and (i think) got people between life and death or tried to bring them back from the dead to find out what the afterlife was like or even if there was one (i remember being told that the scenes are somewhat gorey too) , i remember being told that in the end of it the head of that government or company finds out what the afterlife is like and kills herself and (as i was told) you are left to wonder if she killed herself because what shes seen is so terrifying and terrible that she can't live anymore, or that its so amazing that she wants to get there immediately, or if her whole life's mission was a waste and theres nothing there

I can't lie this movie sounds terrible to me but im so curious haha

Back in I'm guessing 2021 or 2022, I watched a movie about a girl who was a teenager or young adult who went to a psych ward.

Here are a list of things I remember about the movie:

-more recent, I'm guessing late 2010s or early 2020s

-the language is English and I'm guessing it's American

-it's not a horror movie, it's a drama and pretty sympathetic to the patient characters

-not the entire movie is spent with her there, there are scenes of her getting in and getting out

-I'm pretty sure the main character became friends with another girl there and I think they get out together too

This is, i think British or Irish (im not a native english speaker so maybe im confused about the precise accent) 90s movie is about a Medicine Doctor who realizes that touching people makes them start curing their disease's. He fails to save a woman that is neither HIV possitive or cancer. At the same time there are a couple of journalists, a female who is an skeptic and wants to show that this doctor is a fraud. I think the journalist's brother has a palsy or some kind of paralisis and yells Dr. Miracle or something like it and its touched by him and it looks as if the guy is stepping away from the wheelchair.

I remember when I was a kid at blockbuster in the 90s I would see this VHS cover that looks very Noir. The cover has a woman holding a mask in front of her face and a guy In a trench coat and hat looking back at her. The back of the VHS had like women's faces being stretched out sucking the life force off of people.

I’m looking for a movie from the 1990s or early 2000s (not sure but seems like bepkngs to that 3ra with the video quality that I remember). It's about a teenage girl living in a small, rural town or forested area. She and her family live in a small wooden house near or in the woods ig.

At the very beginning of the movie, she wakes up with a mysterious mark on her hand or arm. She inherits a ring from her grandmother (ig) / or possibly multiple rings she must collect in order to save her town? She uses an old book to learn about her powers and how to save her town.

The town is surrounded by a shrinking invisible barrier that destroys anything trying to escape, there's a scene in the move where a car gets destroyed. Theres also a scene where all the town people are gather in a hall. The town is not able to contact the outside world.

The local authority figures likely the mayor and his companions become suspicious and hostile toward her thinking she might be responsible for wtv is harming their town. They decide to capture or kill her.

The climax involves the girl being attacked in a tunnel or hiding there.

The movie’s aesthetic and video quality remind me of The 13th Child (2002).

The girl is the only one with powers and is responsible for saving her town from some supernatural curse or threat. (her grandmother or father probably had something similar or atleast an idea about it. There's also a possibility that the girl has had the mark since foever but it starts feeling weird the the begining scene where she wakes up one day and it's tingling or something.

While I am not sure about a lot of the details that I mentioned about since I watched it a s a kid/ in my pree teens years ago. I am 100% sure of the barrier and the car scene, and also the town people gathering scene, I am also sure about the mark and her having to collect the rings or something or sorts.

In the movie a woman who makes a kids show dies and leaves two estranged friends something in her will which requires them to stay overnight in her house—or something like that, but they definitely stay overnight.

I'm trying to identify a movie I saw on late-night TV in Colombia when I was around 6–8 years old.

I believe it was from the 1970s or 1980s, possibly European (French, Italian, British, etc.), although the US is also possible. It may have been dubbed or subtitled.

What I remember:

* The protagonist was a boy, around 9–10 years old.

* He lived with his mother in a small rural village and rode a bicycle around the area.

* He was fascinated by a seashell/conch and listened to the sound of the sea through it, especially at night. 🐚

My husband (born mid 1985) remembers seeing this movie as a kid, He's not sure how old he was but it scared him enough to remember the feeling vividly and It's eluded him for years.

He thinks it was live action but can't be 100% sure.

It's a 3D animated movie from my childhood that I watched in the early 2000s.

​What I can remember is that I think there were two main characters: a man and a woman. One of the supporting characters is a large, stout giant with orange hair and orange clothes, and I think he had a goatee; his outfit looked somewhat beachy or hippie-style.

​As for the plot, I think it was about dreamlike or magical elements, and the female protagonist's father was either sick or imprisoned in crystal.

​I also vaguely recall a scene where they are crossing floating rocks.

I remember watching a movie as a kid, it was around 2013 I've watched it, but it definitely came out earlier. It was definitely pretty light hearted, the kind of movie they would have airing on cable TV on a random evening.

I don't remember much if anything, other than the main idea of a family defending a old ww2 era fort in a legal battle over ownership, It was a ground fort, like a bunker, and I remember it having anti air guns.

I remember one specific scene where the camera turns to the son of the family and he says something corny like "Erm.. Guys? You're gonna wanna see this" and he's just standing there with a unexploded BOMB in his hands, like, it was a HUGE bomb, like almost bigger than the kid, and it then cuts to credits, the scene was after they arleady won the legal battle and were celebrating, also, the climax of the movie was centered around a actual battle for the fort, like, the family was using the fort's guns to shot at the lawyer's trucks or something like that, I'm not sure...

Altough it's also probable this is likely a dream I had once, my memory is not the best...

When I was a kid in the 90's, my dad was casually watching a horror movie I had no business seeing while I played on the computer in my parents' bedroom.

There are three central people in the scene:

1. The experimenter: Male or male-presenting and distinctly creature-like/monstrous, a mad scientist, actively participating in human experimentation.
2. The assistant: A woman dressed or styled like a nurse/medical assistant. She seemed to not have much characterization besides being a bimbo and enthusiastic about she and the scientist were doing.
3. The victim/test subject: An adult man, restrained so that he cannot escape. He had a ball gag in his mouth or something resembling one.

The creature scientist injects the restrained man with something.

The man immediately begins having some kind of severe physical reaction. As this happens, the creature watches him and says something like "You like it? Good."

Meanwhile, the nurse is delighted by the experiment's success, clapping enthusiastically and possibly jumping/bouncing up and down with excitement.

Then the restrained man's body begins to physically transform/mutate.

I don't recall what he becomes. I basically got up and left my computer game around that point.

It's such a clear formative image in my memory, but I cannot find any trace of this movie to figure out how we got to that scene or how the movie ends.

So my sister and I have this movie scene that we joke about but can't for the life of us recall where it comes from.

In the scene we meet Eskimos? And one is an old man talking about his retirement or something and we see a family say goodbye to their old person and the old person floats away on this iceberg with this nice igloo while the old man we've met get on an iceberg with just a stool and a fishing pole.

Like I said we both have vivid memories of this secen from childhood (90s) but have no idea what from... It could be from a show as well but ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I saw this movie on Amazon but I'm completely failing at finding it. If I try to search for prohibition movies it never comes up.

The movie starts with the main characters farm being foreclosed and he gets thrown out. After that he gets into a fight and meets a native American in jail. They become friends and start running whiskey over the border. There's a love triangle where the women's husband shows up and fights the main character. I also remember specifically a scene where they use a crate of soda to smuggle the whiskey and the cops break it with a hammer. It ended with a shootout with the police

No major stars in the movie but a good production quality so maybe an Amazon movie.

I'm losing my mind trying to find it!

My mom and I have been trying to find a TV movie we saw on a Saturday night that would have been 1998-2000 ish. It was when Xena the Warrior Princess was still on air.

It was a Saturday night when Xena had been cancelled because of a football game.

The movie was about an dumb actor on a bad science fiction television show who depended on cue cards to remember his lines. He ends up being taken to a planet where there's a prophecy. The temple (?) starts falling apart around him and the female lead, and he has flashbacks to the cue cards which turned out to be the words he needed to say to save the day.

I just remember it being pretty funny and having terrible special effects, and it's not Buckaroo Banzai which Google keeps insisting it is.

I saw this one movie on TV a couple years back can someone help me remember the name? These are the things I remember:

-the main character was a boy around age 10-15

-he had a crush on a girl I think was slightly older than him

-they lived in the same neighborhood with another dude

-our guy like the girl but she only saw him as a friend or brother I think, anyway, he saw this other dude and the gurl kissing on a bench and than left crying

-I'm not sure who but later, the boy killed someone accidently, someone's little brother I'm correct, either his own or the other guys

This was like only the first half of the movie, the other half is when they grow up. Someone found the dead kids body and the neighborhood was trying to find the killer. I don't remember If they did catch him or not. He may have ran off at the end of it

So I randomly remembered this scene and have been desperately trying to figure out what movie it's from. It's live action, in english, I believe it might be an american movie? The scene in question is I think from the very start of the movie where there is some catastrophe where a large bridge has been destroyed and a bus full of children and I believe their schoolteacher is falling over the edge, the schoolteacher gets out of the back of the bus and I think gets 1 or 2 of the kids out and tries to reach out for more but the entire bus falls and the rest of the children die in the fall.

I think it's from some kind of sci-fi movie but it could also be one of those disaster films, I can't quite remember. Any help at all would be appreciated

Okay- whoever can answer this will immensely help me and my husband who have been searching for years (literally) with no luck. At some point between 2017 and 2021 there was a movie where a line akin to “look at that two handed tea drinker” or “you look like a two handed tea drinker” was said. It was said by a man, in a live action film. Whoever said it is a typically sarcastic actor- think Jason Bateman-esque. We have scoured the internet. AI hallucinated over it, all to no avail. Top actor options we’ve thought of are- the aforementioned Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, or even Seth McFarland. It was definitely around that time frame because it made us think of a specific friend who drinks a lot of tea.

It's very vague in my mind but the protagonists house was in the midst of nature and it could or could not have had a japanese look.

one room was open to the outside, like when you open the paper doors in an old japanese house. or maybe it was a big window or terrace.

surreal things happened in that house. i feel like at one point there opened a portal or something maybe(?) and the portal couldve been at the point where that one room opens to the outside.

i dont know if it was horror or mystery. the movie isn't new but it also isn't very old. i watched it probably 5 to 10 years ago but it probably wasn't even new then.

I remember watching this movie about a white woman who meets a black man online. The woman was depressed. They don’t have a ton in common but they stay together for a while, at least a year but I don’t remember how long. Their connection is intentionally dry. I think the point of the movie is to take you through the whole relationship start to finish. Also their two best friends meet and initially hate each other but end up together. At the end of the movie, the main guy tells the woman they need to break up, somewhat abruptly, while they’re hiking on vacation.
