Trans folks have outsized presences in a lot of online spaces, especially less mainstream ones.

Which makes sense to me when real life and mainstream communities tend to be unaccepting.

Being in spaces with other trans people also makes people feel more safe about experimenting and questioning, allowing more trans people to discover themselves.

It genuinely is a matter of people having a safe space to exist, which is pretty much just reddit and tumblr.
