Win95 custom virtuals
Hey!
Do you have any favorite pre-made Windows 95 distributions/VM images specifically for retro gaming? Feel free to share them, or any tips on how to quickly set up a VM environment yourself. Thanks in advance!

Depend the game and the software you use. I'm using Dosbox-Pure-Unleashed to create my Windows 9X VM, it's enougj fast to play your old games, 3DFX games too.

If you're really feeling retro, make a win xp drive, and use its Windows Virtual Machine program to load Win 95 and 98. Runs fine. They took out WVM going to Vista/7.

No. It is really easy to install windows 95. If you don't take the time to learn how to administer the OS you are not going to be able to use it for long.
It is still against Microsoft's tos to share installed images. Since they are participating in open source, there is no reason to be a jerk.
The amount of info it takes to administer windows and Linux effectively does take more space than a floppy disk. So it's no5 much you need to learn.
Do what you want but it's better to learn and have the experience.
Look for listings of windows setup switches, it has all the info you need.
