Can't play the game on native Windows XP. The run button is greyed out. I tried to run the program as administrator but it still didn't work. I also tried dgvoodoo2 with no success since it won't work on 32 bit Win XP. I'm running the game from its retail disc and all of my specs passed the hardware check so I don't have an idea what the issue could be

Is there any hardware I should upgrade? I have Core 2 Quad Q9400, 250GB SATA HDD, 4GB RAM.

I tried installing windows XP using WinSetupFromUSB on my fujitsu lifebook E781. When the text mode setup finished, I booted from the USB again and selected "stage 2 setup". The windows XP logo flashed, then disappeared, and nothing is happening. I tried setting the SATA controller mode to compatible, and it still didn't work. How can I fix this?

Try installing vanilla first. Copy files over to drive. "Error loading operating system". Fair enough.

Ok, i just need to enable ide compatibility mode. (Bios doesn't have the option)

Alright, I'll try an iso with sata drivers packed in. (Same error as before.)

Maybe XP integral will work. "No matching drivers found". Copy process fails.

Fine, ill just get the specific driver and install it myself. (Every trace of its existence has been wiped off the internet). Fucking lovely mate.

Guess ill just buy an ide.

I don't run the olive green theme that often but it works for this wallpaper for sure.

I honestly don’t know what subreddit to put this in, but I’m having a really hard time identifying a game demo that came installed on a Windows XP system I had growing up.

I can’t remember the title, but things I do remember include:

- In the start menu, this game was not in the same subfolder as FreeCell and Solitaire… I’m fairly certain it was under its own subfolder or maybe a subfolder with the developer name?

- It had a dark, scifi theme to it

- Camera was positioned behind the player, and you moved forward in what I think was a metal tube or tunnel- think Temple Run but positioned directly behind and before Temple Run was a thing

- I think there were rotating obstacles around the tunnel edge but also enemies iirc

- I don’t recall there being any kind of background music

- 3D graphics I believe
